”How do you know my name?” a sweet voice asked. Her voice was like music to his ears. NO! Get a hold of yourself man!

Linri was having trouble processing information right now. This was not how it should have happened. They shouldn't have met before 'The Game' event. Linri did not even know that she would be present for the opening ceremony.

”I asked you a question” Elizabeth's sweet dream-like voice questioned him once again. Her voice was coming from somewhere else this time. She was moving around him as she spoke like mythical forest sprite.

”H-hi, I am Linri” God! He just fucking bit his tongue. Why did he have to stutter there? Linri felt his heart. It was beating furiously almost as if it was ready to jump out of his body. His face was getting hotter and hotter. Even his eyes started to tear up. He had to leave right now! He didn't want to meet with her in here. If possible he didn't want to meet with her ever again!

Linri turned around to leave. He wanted to run away but he didn't want to run away at the same time. His stomach was feeling weird and his palms were sweaty. He was feeling extremely uncomfortable.

”Linri...Do I know you?” Linri could swear that she was whispering into his ear right now. He froze in place, not knowing how to react.

”Yes! I mean no! I mean I know you but you don't know me yet” He was blabbering. Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Come on, think of something cool to say otherwise she will think you are boring. No! You are trying to escape here why are you trying to sound cool! Just look down and slowly walk away. Like a panther stalking its prey... except backwards.

Linri crashed into a tree.

”Are you... okay?” Linri broke into a nervous laugh.

”I am A-OKAY! Everything is fine. Haha...” You blew it. She thinks you are a freak now. Quick! Find a way to distract her.

”I can see you!” Dammit! Bloody fucking hell! He shouldn't have said that. Why did he say that! That was the last fucking thing he was supposed to say.

”Nice joke! I know you can't see me” said Elizabeth in a cocky tone while changing her location.

Phew! Crisis averted. Now the only thing he had to do was get up from the ground and leave this place. Then why did he want to prove her wrong so much? No, no! You know what's going to happen if you do this. Don't! Don't you fucking dare!

Linri activated his newly acquired [Thermal Vision]. The world suddenly turned into shades of red and blue. He then looked towards Elizabeth's silhouette and repeated his words.

”I can really see you...” When he said that Linri sounded defeated. He was having this feeling, like thousands of ants were crawling all over his body.

Elizabeth did not believe him and kept moving around but Linri kept following her movements with his eyes. Eventually, she let out a yelp and hide behind the tree Linri just crashed into. She dispelled her invisibility and slowly peeked out. She stopped when she could see him with the corner of her eye.

Oh my god, she was so cute! It was like seeing a koala hugging a tree.
