59 A Lovely Dinner (1/2)
It had been 3 days since they had returned home. During this time nothing out of ordinary had happened. Both Lyra and Arkady still keeping their silence about what happened in the Forest of Rundabar. This was a good thing for Linri so he was happy with their decision.
Jaime, on the other hand, was in an awkward spot, at least that was what Linri thought. After getting checked up by a real doctor, her diagnosis was just that of a couple of fractures on her left arm and a lot of flesh wounds. There was no need for any kind of surgery so this was kind of good news for them. The real problem was Jaime herself. After what happened at the temple she seemed more cold, more withdrawn.
She did not speak much and spent most of her time in the guest room she was staying in. This was quite the contrast from her previous cheerful personality. Linri did not know if this was a good thing or not, but there was one thing that he knew. This was 'natural'.
He had already figured out on his first day in here that they were affected by the personalities of their RP characters or rather their 'current' vessels. He himself was a victim of this phenomenon at the temple with constantly flaring up in rage.
Luckily most of his personality was similar since Linri was based on himself but it was different for Alina. Jaime had a completely different personality from her. This could be understood from their nicknames in the Autumnfall RP Club community. In there Spark's nickname was 'Happy, go lucky girl' while her character was mostly described as 'The Ice Queen'.
If he were to compare the current Spark with her previous self, she would be in a spot between normal and Jaime. So her current personality was more like a hybrid between Alina and Jaime. There was one more worrying thing, however; they did not know if this would stop here or would her personality keep changing until it would be exactly the same as 'The Ice Queen'.
Since Linri noticed this situation it would be impossible that the person in question did not know it herself. That was why he found her situation awkward.
Linri was pulled away from his thoughts by his father's sudden question at the dinner table.
”I can't take this any more! Are you really not gonna ask anything? Why haven't you spoken a word of it yet?” To his question, Linri decided to play it dumb. He just stared at Arkady and tilted his head slightly with a blank look on his face.
”Ask about what?” Not noticing he was being made fun of by his son Arkady went on to explain.
”You know... what happened at the temple or why did your arm healed overnight or the changes happening to your body”
