Volume 3 Chapter 14: The Usual Work

The God Tree District.

Several areas, covered by the permanent shadow cast by the God Tree, were reserved for warehouses, without people settling there.

This district, that normally didn’t see much of human presence all day long, now had a few tents placed by the knights order, and since a month ago has been used by them as a frontier base in the project to restore the God Tree.

Usually, they would patrol the area or go carrying the goods in between the storehourses, while having some casual chats at times. That kind of a base.

Even so, it’s been one month since they set up a camp here. The members of the squad settled and most of the fuss has died down.

Even so, right now, a few very excited knights were there.

「Hey hey, is that for real? Isn’t that beauty the hero of magic-sama?」

The one who raised such a voice in the middle of the storehouse district was a《High Knight》that already spent a few years in the order.

His stare was directed at the girl, with black hair that sways as she walks with cloth bags in both hands.
