Chapter 225 - The Meeting (5) (1/2)
(Jane's PoV)
I wasn't trying to brag or anything, but this kind of trick wouldn't work on me.
These old people really jumped for one topic to another quickly like women in gossiping mode. Instead of continuing their accusations towards Rasha and me, they hastened the closing of the meeting with sparkling eyes. Soon after, they all went out with eager steps, followed by their own Advisers.
Seeing those old men looked so eager to check on the magnificent view outside the temple, I couldn't hide the smirk appeared on my face. Since they wanted to see the difference of strength between their armies, and probably trying to humiliate me and Rasha -not that I cared about him, I would love to accompany them in their game.
Let's see who would have the last laugh.
The exit brought us to the top of the temple with splendid view beneath our feet. From our point of view, I could practically see the l.u.s.ter colors of each army as the magnificent views of hundreds or even thousands of powerful entities lined up around the temple.
I recognized the fiery red aura from Merapi army occupied almost the whole west side of the temple. It looked grand and domineering from above, looking like demons emerged from hell with sparks of fire in the air. As expected of Third Master, his power was not to be trifled with. No wonder he became the leader of us.
My eyes scanned the scenery under my feet. Not too far from Merapi Army was Cloudy Army. The gloomy greyish aura made them looked like they were here to bring bad news for people. It was too bad that the view was not as grand as Merapi since Rasha's power was slowly running out. It seemed like I was right about he was closing to his limit.
Next to Cloud Army was an army which was emitting green and brown aura. I remembered reading it in the book about mystical army and I had been asking myself how they would look like. The l.u.s.trous color of green and brown was somehow satisfyingly cool looking from above. The colors represented the wilderness but somehow it looked oddly soothing, but with hidden danger inside.
Standing side by side with the hidden danger, Cloud Army looked so small and close to... nothing.
It looked pitiful.
I took a peek at Rasha who looked like he would collapse at any moment now. Beads of sweat trickled down from his forehead. The others must have noticed about his condition as well since some of them shook their heads after taking a glance at him.
How pitiful. In the contest of showing off, he failed to keep up and present a grand performance for these old geezers.
Well, it was partly his fault for refusing to learn early. If only he had accepted it since long ago, he wouldn't be in this predicament.
I sighed. Fine, just this once.
I walked towards him and grabbed his arm. ”Just this once.” I told him as he glared at me. Before he could say anything, I had transferred some of my power to him.
Below our feet, Cloud Army had a significant change during the transfer. Their greyish and gloomy aura rushed to the sky, created an even bigger dark cloud above them as the number of the men kept expanding.
The pitiful looking army was now almost as intimidating as the savana army -The Eighth Army -with the gloominess emitted from them, looking like they were here to deliver bad news.
I smiled in satisfaction as the army didn't look as pitiful as before and could finally stand side by side with the other armies. Only after I found it okay that I stopped helping.
”Well, that's not bad at all.” I shrugged my shoulders and turned my head to look for my own army.
'Look for' might be exaggerated since the moment I turned my head, I could practically see their aura.
