Chapter 208 - Doesnt Feel The Same (1/2)

(Jane's PoV)

”Siji, White Army, come forth.” I said in a low, lazy voice.

Blue flame marked the arrival of my army. Even Tom who had been standing behind my back got teleported on my left side, in front of me, complete with his uniform as the General of White Army. Siji's pony tail and robe swayed as he appeared from the blue flame, on my right side. The men were standing in rows and lines and left a big enough path for our guest to see me, the Master of White Army.

I was still in the same position, didn't move even just a bit even though fiery red flame appeared on my back and enveloped me in it. My robe appeared after the fire disappeared and honestly I was so satisfied seeing the look on their faces.

I knew that using blue flame as their entrance mark would create a powerful impact on our spectators. It was a bit exaggerated, but I was glad I did that. The expression they had on their face was priceless. It was worth my power and effort.

Compared to the greyish light emitted from the old man's army, my glowing White Army was so much better. From what I'd seen, it was a pity that even though that old man was so old already, he wasn't capable of unlocking the army's fullest ability. That grey light looked so dull that I found it hard to believe that they were one of ten mystical armies in Astral World.

It was too bad that there was limited knowledge about the other armies other than the names and origins.

”Old man, now you believe me? I don't know what you've been studying about during your meditation, but apparently you got trick by devils. Instead of gaining peace and calm mind, your inner self is destroyed slowly for feeding them with your corrupted heart.” I sneered slightly.

”No wonder they can be so stupid.” Tom shook his head in a fake concern.

”Old man, on behalf of your status as their Master, I'll let you go today. Just remember, don't make me caught you again for the same reason. I'm not that nice and patient.”

Maybe he had already sensed that he couldn't win against me, or that his verbal accusation was proven wrong, the old man didn't say anything anymore and dragged his nephew back with him. Those men also disappeared after he ordered them to do so.

I only straightened my back after they had left. Red fiery flame reappeared on my back and my robe disappeared instantly.

”You guys can return. Thank you for coming here.” I said to the men, and with a wave, I dismissed them.

The only one left was Tom who had returned to his casual outfit, and Siji who still looked like an ancient good-looking man. Sanji was still standing behind me and even though he had stayed silent this whole time, I could sense from the fluctuation of his spiritual power around him that he had prepared himself for a battle. After they had gone, the rapid flow of his spiritual power also returned to normal.

”Thank you.” I smiled at him. ”Now let's get inside. Siji, I want to ask you something.” I said to Siji without looking at him.

Throwing myself onto the couch, I was getting ready to hear Siji's story, his knowledge about the ten mystical armies that I couldn't find in any book.

”To be honest, Milady, I have no idea as well.” Siji said even before I asked my question.

I arched my eyebrow. ”The old man looks so capable, but he couldn't even use the army to its fullest. I'm curious.”

Tom, Sanji, and I stared at Siji in unison. He was the only one in our group who was knowledgeable. Even though he said he had no idea, I was sure he must have heard something.

Siji bowed his head and frowned as he tried to think hard about the possible reason. I remembered what he mentioned before, that he only met some of the other advisors, but he didn't really know about the condition of each army.

We waited but Siji shook his head even after he thought about it for a long time. ”I'll scout some information outside, Milady.” He bowed a bit.

”Ah well, if you can do that, it will be good. But, please be careful.” I nodded at him. Being a soul didn't mean he was free from harm. That was why I asked him to be careful.
