Chapter 194 - Side Story: The Overlapping Image of Two Girls (1/2)
Nataya, the Devil, was considered as one of the smartest devil back then before he knew the girl. Even so, he was rendered speechless under her glare. He really had no way out to walk away from this girl. Whatever she said, she was always true.
After kissing her that time, Nataya began to understand some points. For example, he had an even stronger urge whenever he saw the girl, including kissing, touching, hugging, and any other intimate actions that he had never understood before. However, the thing was she seemed to dislike the actions, for real or not, but she would always throw him a glare every here and then.
Therefore, the Devil returned to his post, watching her from afar and this time, he had made sure to protect her well. He had even managed to convince her to let him be her sparring partner and to give her some pointers about her new found ability.
Whatever the girl wanted, he would make sure to help her achieve that.
Years after that, the girl had developed into a fine young woman who still loved to disguise herself as a man. Her power and ability had developed into a whole new level that Nataya was sometimes still feeling amazed of her talent.
Her personality also experienced a huge change. There was no more bubbly and cheerful young girl. Instead, the young woman in front of him had a mature aura, completed with s.e.xiness and elegance belonged to a young lady. Sometimes, she would even scorn at him. Her cute glare had turned into a fierce glare, yet it still looked adorable in his eyes.
Ever since she went out from her village, they always trained together every day. People would probably see that she was getting stronger and stronger and Nataya would not be able to defeat her. In other people's eyes, he was thrashed by her.
The truth was… he let himself being defeated by her every time.
As the one who helped her gain the power she needed, the one who pushed her to let out her one hundred percent ability, there was no way he could be defeated that easily.
The young woman knew it, but she didn't say anything and just let the Devil accompanied her.
He accompanied the young woman to gather several hundreds of men's soul and transformed them into one big army. He accompanied the young woman to set the rules in the army. He did all those to satisfy the vision she had about the future.
Yes, as time flew passed, she suddenly had a 'vision' about the future. Not suddenly, she had already had it since she was young, but it just got clearer as she got older.
Whenever she told him about the vision that she got after, he would listen to her intently, thinking that she was indeed a chosen one, chosen by the Universe to bring peace and avoid calamities. She used her vision to prepare a better future for everyone even though she sacrificed herself, her youth, to do it. She gained influence in both humans and astral dimension with his help behind her.
He made sure he would always be there whenever she needed him.
However, it was probably the will of the Universe, the plan that the Creator had made, he couldn't do anything, worse wasn't present when she sacrificed herself to save the Middle Region from collapsing. The one that killed her didn't come from the astral world, instead…it was human.
When he reached the place, he nearly lost himself in his rage and almost committed a massacre. However, every corners of the place was filled with her memory and all of her words were deeply engraved in his heart and mind.
'Don't hate humans too much. Whatever happens might be a start of something better.'
She left the world and her inheritance to the next person to continue her path. But, all the people after her were just thrash. They couldn't even compare to her nails.
What a disappointment. What a disgrace to the name of White Army. She had tried so hard to make them the number one army in the astral world, but those people after her couldn't really do anything right.
It pissed him off that he wanted to kill them!
However, once again he remembered the hard work both of them had put to build the army, so he held back the urge.
He watched them from afar, remembering the days when he loved watching her from afar as well. But then, they would die even before they could control the whole army. He would always be there when they were dead and a thought came into his mind as he looked down on those corpses.
Pathetic.
He didn't even need to test them, they would die even before he laid his eyes on them.
