Chapter 93 - I Dont Dare, Milady (1/2)

I looked at Tom who was also looking at me. My heart felt heavy when I thought he would leave me. But, it hurt even more when I thought he would die for real.

If I were to think rationally, I would have let him go back to his body. I didn't mind being separated from him for a bit, as long as I knew that he would eventually return to my side.

But, this time it was different.

I didn't know if he would come back or not. I didn't even know if he would still remember me or not.

There were too many possibilities that made me scared to let him go.

But, I reminded myself again that there was a high possibility of Tom being alive; breathing, warm, and... human.

Even though it was hard, I decided to let him go.

”Milady?” Siji was waiting for my decision.

”Send him back.” I was surprised to hear my own voice sounded so weak.

”Jane.” Tom hugged me tight. ”I will stay if that's what you want me to do.”

I shook my head. ”I'll wait for you. Just come back safe and sound. You do know that I have Sanji beside me. If you take too long to return, I'm afraid you...”

”No!” He cut me off. A smile bloomed in my face as my intention to tease him succeeded.

His face hardened as he glared at me. ”Don't you dare!” He growled.

I chuckled. ”Go...” I pushed him lightly.

”Jane, promise me you'll wait for me.” He pleaded.

I nodded my head. ”Of course.”

Only after hearing my answer that he released his hold on my body and walked towards Siji who was waiting so patiently.

”I'm ready.” Tom stood in front of Siji.

Siji reached out and widely spread his fingers. His thumb and point finger touched Tom's forehead while the others were covering Tom's eyes. Seconds later, I saw Tom's transparent body disappeared bit by bit. My heart thumped loudly and painfully as I watched him disappeared.

When he was finally no where to be found, I found Siji frowned slightly.

”What is it?” I squinted my eyes. Don't tell me you send him to a wrong place, I said in my mind.

”Nothing, Milady.” Siji bowed slightly. He looked calm but somehow I felt that he was hiding something from me.

”Siji, you better don't hide anything from me.” I reminded him.

”...I don't dare, Milady.” He lowered his head. ”It's just... I detected something from him, an aura not belong to him is in his body.”

I frowned. ”Is it harmful?”
