Chapter 7 - The Unexpected Roommate (7) (1/2)

”Yes. Don't laugh!” I glared at him, ignoring the weird light in his eyes. What could he do to me, anyway?

Tom covered his mouth, trying to muffle his laughter. ”Okay...” He said, but I could hear the mocking tone behind his sentence.

I huffed and walked pass through him and he followed me closely behind, ignoring the chilling it gave me when I passed through him. We didn't talk for a couple of minutes. To tell the truth, I was still upset with him. I didn't know that he could be this mischievous.

Well, I knew now.

”Heeh, this is how it looks like out here. It's been a long time.” Tom said. He was looking around him, reminiscing about something.

”Where have you been in two years exactly? Don't tell me you just stay in that room.”

To my surprise, he nodded. ”I miss this place.”

”Did you go to this campus?” I asked and he nodded again.

I was speechless when I heard that he attended the same campus as I was. I didn't know ghost could remember their past. Wasn't in the movie they told that after a person died, she or he would forget about her or his life during their life? Tom was truly a weird ghost who remembered where he studied.

”Ah, I remember now!” He shouted suddenly. His face showed his happiness.

”Remember what? You look so happy about it.” Asking him casually, I seriously didn't think he would remember anything beneficial.

Tom grinned. ”Of course. I couldn't remember anything about my life for the past two years. The only thing I remember is where I live and my name.” Oh, so my previous speculation about he remembered his life was wrong? My bad.

”What about now?”

”Now, I remember a little bit.”

I laughed. ”My, My. You're a ghost. What are you trying to remember your life for? You're dead.” I stated to him.

”Who said I'm dead?” Tom said hastily. He glared at me.

”Look. You're a ghost. So, it means you're dead. D-e-a-d. Got it?” I glared back at him and stated that as a matter of fact.

”No. I'm not dead yet. I'm – not – dead.” He said hastily, stressing every word he said while still glaring at me.
