Chapter 112 - A sudden gift (1/2)

After Xianwang was satisfied with his mischief, he decided to let the angry as well as annoyed Yuerui go and went back to his office.

”You still need to work on those files. Re-check those and correct the things I told you about.”

Yuerui only nodded in reply. Didn't say a word.

Xianwang reached out for the doorknob, but before he opened the door he moved his head a little and said, ” Correct them immediately. You never know when I will come and check.”

Saying so he gave a smirk and left the place.

'You are gonna come again?' Yuerui was so stressed out that she didn't realize that she was actually biting her scarf. When she came out of her daze she removed the scarf from her mouth and went back to her seat.

”Hahaha... I had so much fun today.” Said Xianwang as he was swinging in his chair.

”I really feel pity for Ms Mai.” Si ying said as he saw how his devil friend was having fun in teasing Yuerui.

”What? It was you who told me to stick with her.” Xianwang replied.

”Me? When did I tell you that?” Si ying was surprised to hear his friend's excuse.

”Didn't you say not to look for other women for this contract.” Xianwang replied with an obvious expression.

Si ying was slack-jawed to hear his friend. He was amazed how his friend put the whole blame on him.

”You are impossible, man.” Si ying shook his head.

”What makes you say that?”

”How teasing that innocent girl makes you happy?” Si ying cannot but ask.

”I am not teasing her. I am trying to convince her to agree to the contract.”

”Heh! How?” Si ying was surprised.

”Even though I gave her the most incredible offer in this world, she still rejected it. So now I want the people to convince her.”

”How?”

”By creating a rumor.” Xianwang gave a wink.

Si ying was confused a little. It took him a couple of minutes to understand.

”Oh my goodness.” Si ying stood up from his chair in shock.

”You want to create a rumor that you and Yuerui are a couple!”

Xianwang gave a victorious expression.

”It took you so much time to understand.” He replied.

”You, sly fox.” Si ying shook his head again.

”I took it as a compliment.” Xianwang replied with a charming smile.

Si ying sighed at his friend and left the office.

After his friend left, the mischievous expression on Xianwang's face disappeared and was sorrounded with black gloomy cloud.

He reached out to the lower drawer of his table and opened it. He looked at the things inside the drawer for a while. Didn't want to reach out for them. His heart ached a little while looking at them intently.

After looking at them for a while he couldn't hold himself anymore and took out one of them.

He held that thing in the bright light of the sun which was penetrating into his room through the glass wall behind him. It was a piece of heel. The stones that was adorned in the heel was dazzling in the bright light of the sun. Xianwang's soft and inflexible glance was admiring every single one of the stones. His heart ached again.

He put the heel on the table and murmured,”I have searched everywhere for you. But I can't seem to find you anywhere.”
