Chapter 174: Burnok (1/2)

Glancing on the System Map, Nile expected another batch of hybrids coming towards them.

However, what he saw on the System Map was a different color of dot indicator. The System Map showed an indicator of a gray dot, meaning it was a human.

Based on the dot's size, the human should be a Level Two°. The human's gray dot indicator didn't lose to Nile's green dot indicator size.

What he didn't understand is that the gray dot was traveling at a fast speed. Even for Nile, that kind of speed was still unattainable. It's as if the human was flying.

However, after a few moments, the speed actually stopped abruptly. It's as if there was a sudden barrier, causing it to stop from its track.

At the same time, a deafening sound reached his ears, along with the appearance of a huge red dot on the System Map.

From that alone, he could already imagine what had happened.

'It looks like they were fighting. The red dot which was the zombie's indicator was stronger than the human. For the human to have a speed like that, he or she might have been thrown away from the zombie's attack, before it got stopped midway. ' He guessed as he deliberated whether he should help the human or not.

'The red dot is bigger than my green dot, It looks like it has stats of at least 27 points.'

He glanced at the System Map again and estimated the distance from where he was to the human body and the zombie.

'A hundred or so meters? The human was trashed by the zombie easily. If it isn't killed, then it would probably come here and disturb the evolving Croc. It was also stronger than me. But if I have the clothes and weapons, I should be able to manage a one on one fight, but the problem is that I can't finish it easily. The battle might get dragged again.'

'It looks like I need to go there and help the human to get an easy win. I should hide in ambush and kill the zombie swiftly. I just hope the other human could stall some time and let the zombie lower its guard.' He planned inside his head.

'It looks like I need to wholeheartedly trust Max for this.' He took a glance at the System Map and noticed that it was clear from hybrids for now. Aside from his indicator, only the indicator of his two pets, the human, and the zombie were on the System Map.

”Max, guard Croc for a few moments alright? I will be back shortly.” After his little plan of kill stealing was finalized, he instantly got up and instructed Maximo on what he should do.

Maximo nodded his head enthusiastically as he bid Nile a farewell with a wave of his hoof.

”Ahhh… This is so messed up!”

”How did that zombie know of my location? I made sure to never create loud noises inside the house. How come? Was it the hybrids from before?”

Burnok rubbed his aching nape as he tried to stand up from the rubbles.
