Chapter 164: Hunt (1/2)

At the town of Daan, multiple figures could be seen running around. The surroundings were dim as only the illumination of the stars lightly lit the area.

It was almost in the middle of the night, but the town of Daan's street had become busy with figures running. Compared to the daylight scenario, the night was almost full of humanoid figures running past each other from time to time.

The figures were hybrids searching for prey to hunt and eat. Zombies or humans, anything that could be eaten, will be eaten.

At the westmost area of Daan's town, one group of hybrids stood atop a tall tree as they stared at the human survivor base at a distance.

”There are dozens of humans there right?” One hybrid asked while licking his lips. He had just become a hybrid a few days ago and was still not accustomed to being one. But because of being a hybrid, the desire to eat human flesh was still apparent in his eyes.

”Yeah, but we can't go there. We will be killed instantly.” One hybrid man said with greed apparent in his eyes as he imagined dozens of human thighs being served on his plate.

”Tsk! I haven't eaten human meat for a few days now. Zombie meats are greasy and not as juicy as human meat.” A hybrid said with eyes full of desire.

”We could only hope to find a stray human night, or else, I might as well sneak towards that base and get some human drumsticks there for myself.”

”Then let's better get going, else the other group might find that stray human first.”

”Let's go, I'll book the two eyeballs in advance, alright?”

”Testicles are my favorite.”

”Hmmm! Nothing could beat the taste of the liver and heart. They are full of nutrients.”

The hybrids argued as they jumped off the tall tree and resumed searching for prey.

After praying for the dozens of Gods he knew, Nile instantly went outside the building they were staying at.

On his System Map, at the area 150 meters away, dozens of orange-red dots appeared all of a sudden.

'Why do every time one of us evolve, problems keep on popping up?' He grumbled as he arrived outside the building.

He glanced at the surroundings and noticed that it was cramped with only the road as the free space. The buildings around only occupied a small area as they were only mostly one or two stories tall. The place was not suitable for group battle, but as it's only him for now, the cramped space would be an advantage for him. He expected that Maximo would also evolve soon, and he can only do this on his own.

A smirk then surfaced on his face under the face mask.

'Whoever dared to enter the 150-meter area around me will become dead meat.'

He said domineeringly as he hopped into the air and landed on the rooftop of a two-story building.

'The first target is 45 meters away. This hybrid is alone, I should finish it instantly and get rid of the group that is also approaching.'
