Chapter 119: Three Versus Many (1/2)

”That's him. I saw it with my own eyes. He's the one who attracted those mutated animals and zombies.”

Nile was forced to stop in his tracks hearing the man who popped out of nowhere's shout?

'Aren't they happy I attracted the enemy's attention?' Nile thought.

If he didn't attract and kill some of the zombie pets, with their number, can they cope up with the endless stream of zombie pets? Would they still be here if he didn't do it?

'What's wrong with these guys?' Nile thought bewildered.

”What? That's him?” Desmon said after seeing Nile's scrawny appearance. He scanned Nile's body up and down before looking at the man who just shouted. ”Are you fucking kidding with me?”

”No no, that's really him. I saw it with my own eyes. He was the one who made those small explosions earlier. He attracted those mutated animals and zombies.” The man said while retreating backward in fear of Desmon's deathly stare.

The people around them then started murmuring, cursing Nile, and his whole ancestors in the process. All the people stared at Nile with a death glare. If glares are sword slashes, then Nile might have already experienced a thousand cuts by now.

”What the fuck is wrong with that man?” Said one of them angrily while gripping the thick baton in his hand more tightly.

”Yeah, how could he do that?”

”Do we have a conflict with him? No? Then why did he do that?”

”Fuck him!”

”Fuck him. Let's just kill him and get our revenge!”

”Yeah. No matter if he did it or not? Killing him is not a problem. Right? Chief?” Said a fat man while looking expectantly at Raymon.

”Chief, let's kill that man and roast the carabao and the croc-”

Cough! Cough! Cough!

The man who speaks the last couldn't finish his speech as a sword was now embedded on his throat. Blood keeps on dripping from the wound as the man struggled to get some air to breathe. His eyes were still wide open when he fell back to the ground, dead.

”Attack!” Raymon said after seeing the scene unfold in front of his eyes.

He originally wanted to observe their enemy first. He saw how tattered the man's clothes are. He also noticed that the carabao and the crocodile were also donning tattered clothes. Besides that, it seems that the clothes were bloody too.

Raymon felt suspicious, and he thought that something was amiss.

However, seeing his crew getting killed in front of his eyes, Raymon snapped and instantly ordered to kill the man who disrespected him.

Nile, Croco, and Max arrived in front of the gathering in an instant. He retrieves the thrown Kriegsmesser of Agony from the man's throat before swinging it to the side to deflect an attack.

The Nile didn't know why the people in front of him keeps on giving him a deathly glare. However, his mind went red after hearing someone talk about roasting a carabao.

Nile didn't think anymore and instantly threw the Kriegsmesser of Agony towards the man who spoke. In the process, Nile also turned the pain enhancing the function of the sword to the fullest to let the man experience a more than death pain experience.

Unfortunately, it seems the man was quite lucky as he died a few seconds after the sword struck his throat.

Nile didn't wait for the man's comrades to attack him. He dashed in and retrieves the Kriegsmesser of Agony, Nile then twisted his body and deflect an incoming attack.

The man who made the attack has the body of a hulk. He's holding a sword on his right hand, the one Nile just deflected. The man is Raymon.

The enemy troops had now recovered from their thoughts. Instantly, they threw themselves towards Nile holding a weapon each.

Nile saw this and he instantly knew they were at a disadvantage. The enemy this time were dozens of thinking men. Unlike the zombies, their attacks are not monotonous and repetitive.

Not to mention, the village entrance was pretty narrow and is not a good place to battle. It was alright if it's only him as he could even take advantage of the narrow place to not get swarmed by the enemy's attacks. However, he has two pets fighting alongside him.

The Nile somersaulted away from Maximo's back while piercing a man's stomach in the process. He instructed his two pets to make a distance from him so they won't get in each other's way. He also told them to go past the village's entrance, the area where there is an open space.
