Chapter 19: Level One° (1/2)

As he approach the front door, Nile noticed that it is not locked and is slightly open. After opening the door, Nile's eyes constricted as he saw bodies lying on the floor.

This are the bodies of zombies, the heads of these zombies are split open, the brains are scattered on every zombies head.

After glancing around, Nile immediately knew what is going on. And with out hesitation, he immediately wanted to turn his body around and escape. But before he could do so, a figure suddenly appeared in front him, startling him.

This figure is shorter than him, its body is a little plump, or chubby. Its hair is black and a little red, maybe from the bloods. Its forehead is extended halfway on its head. Its clothes is a mess, it's strewn, worn out and dirty. Although its face is a bit disfigured, with blood, dripping from its mouth. Nile could still recognize this figure. It was the Councilor, the Councilor he thought that was on the Lungsod. And this Councilor is already a Level One° zombie.

Bang!

A deafening sound echoed on the area as the Level One° zombie Councilor did not let Nile think any further.

Along with the sound, Nile's body is flying backward at a fast rate. Luckily he blocked the Level One° zombies punch with his two arms at the last moment, if not, that punch would hit his chest.

Bang!

'So strong' Nile grimaced in pain.

Nile's body is now etched on the half concrete, half metal wall. After the impact, he immediately cough up a blood on his mouth and while his nose is bleeding. His arms are still numb and painful because of the punch that the Level One° zombie had delivered.

The moment the zombies punch connected on his arm, he felt as though, he is hit by a fast moving car. His world stopped for a moment, and only when he is already flying backwards did he recall what had happened.

Right now, Nile's mind is on turmoil, he is not ready to face such a strong foe. He is just at the entrance of becoming a Level One°, he could not face this zombie head on. Its strength alone could send him flying for almost 10 meters.

Staring at the zombie, Nile noticed that it shook a little, and within a second, it dash towards him.

Nile prepared himself to evade the zombie. After the zombie arrived 3 to 2 meters in front of him, it readies its right arm, like an archer pulling a bow.

After a full pull of its arm, it throw the punch towards his direction, Nile made his body turn sideways, thinking that he could avoid iy completely, but no, the zombies punch still connected on his right shoulder.

Bang!

With his body turning sideways and with the punch, his body rotated in mid air like a spinning top, before being etched again on the wall.

With danger lurking, his 'Will' performed on its top shape. But because his body is so much weaker than his 'Will', his body could not cope up, having a delay on what he wants to do in this dangerous situation.

After being embedded in the wall the second time, Nile did not waste time to think any further, he rolled to his side.
