162 Task at Hand (2/2)

He was grateful Draig had agreed but it didn't change the fact he didn't particularly want to ask something so difficult of youth before him. He had great confidence in the Feratu's abilities but still he didn't wish to put him in harms way.

”Very well, I will have some supplies put together for your journey” started the Emperor

”That won't be necessary, I just need a map with the location. . .” interrupted Draig in anticipation for his departure.

He wasn't concerned with supplies simply because he still had immense amounts of Rations and other things within his Satchel.

”I-I see. . . then I will have a map prepared for you by this evening” stuttered the Emperor as he was mentally dishelved by the Feratu's apparent eagerness. However he mistook it to be Eagerness for a challenge not necessarily eagerness to leave.

”Very well, I should rest before my Journey. . .” responded Draig signaling the Emperor to leave.

The Emperor nodded and walked out silently but not before looking back as he shut the doors and once again allowing Draig to sit in silence.

'Seems that I am being favored. . .' thought Draig as he looked towards the sky almost as if he could see that woman who had sent him here.

In the Cavern the Woman was indeed watching and it seemed she was preparing for a finale of some sort with the way she acted, she kept leaning closer to the orb in anticipation.

”It's almost time for the fun to begin. . . . . .” sang the Woman as she began laughing pompously.

'I can't wait to see how you handle this ' thought the woman as her laughter began to die down and she paid more attention to the orb that contained the Deva World.

She watched as Draig accepted the map and began heading straight from the Capital, she was feeling the same eagerness he was. Except her eagerness came from the fact that she had a big surprise planned for the Feratu, though the fun actually came from seeing how he would either overcome or avoid the situation.

However what she didn't know was that in her near future she would be receiving an unexpected surprise as well though only time would tell the contents of such a thing.

Meanwhile with Draig, the Feratu was dashing through the trees as if he was a bird. It was only natural that he would feel such as he could finally let go of some of his paranoia that had been building by the day.

'Let's get this over with so I can find a sword' thought Draig as his speed picked up.
