76 The Hun (1/2)
Draig floated above the Township his eyes cold as he looked down but inside he felt pain.
”What is family” asked Draig seemingly to no one but he received an answer.
”Family is what your leaving behind” stated Gregory his breath releasing corpse poison.
”Family is what left me behind” stated Draig with an empty laugh.
”You know, I want to like you. Your a spitting image of Zarra, but your carry the attitude of your mother.” started Gregory but he was cut off by Draig.
”Your not going to rope me in with another sob speech corpse, I opened my heart and it came back to bite me. The one who calls himself my father has made his view very clear. To him and the rest of you, I am nothing but a disgusting Vampire. That is why I was abandoned, that is why I was caged, and that is why at every turning point I find you humans suppressing my growth” stated Draig his voice carrying no form of his usual cockiness or pride.
”Enough” roared Gregory fed up.
”I am sick and tired of hearing you cry about your life, your like a broken record. 'Oh woe is me, I'm a Vampire cursed by my own existence', grow the fuck up. You always go on about how humans are so weak and pathetic, but looking at you. Heh, I am glad I'm not a Vampire. Hell I'm sure you make other Vampires ashamed of their heritage just by association, your such a sniveling brat that I can't even stand to look at you. You throw a fit just because daddy said a few mean words, well kid since you want to act so pissed off then come here and let me show you what real anger is” roared Gregory causing Draig to turn around but his eyes weren't murderous as they usually would be.
”What can't muster the energy now that I have called you on your actions” barked Gregory as the lack of reaction caused him to start boiling over.
Gregory summoned his energy but found his target gone.
”Shut up old man” whispered Draig from behind causing Gregory's eyes to widen in surprise as Draig had become much faster.
With a tyrranical sweep the Necromancer was sent to the ground and Draig continued looking down, it was clear his heart wasn't in this fight and he would end up paying the price as he landed on the ground as he slashed his wrist allowing for his blood to form large crimson claws.
It was at this moment Jared appeared with speed deceptive of his size and slugged the youth with earth shattering might causing his teeth to shatter and his nose to break but still his eyes were cold as he stood up.
”Draig, it is time you learned a valuable lesson.” called Jared as the Bloodknight stripped off his armor causing a crater to form as it piled up.
”Indeed” said Gregory though it wasn't the corpse that had been floating above, no this was the main body.
”Just leave me alone, I am leaving so what does it matter to any of you” stated Draig as he felt that same excitement burst from him but he just couldn't bring himself to channel it as he usually would.
”It doesn't matter to us” answerd Jared tossing his Helm revealing a horribly scarred face.
”It matters to Zarra, and to us” continued Gregory
”That's enough” finished Jared as he took a few experimental punches without his arm causing the wind to break apart under the force.
Gregory's main body could be described as handsome which was quite the contradiction as compared to the corpses he used as bodys usually. The power realeased from him was also quite intimidating.
