21 The second Baron (2/2)
The woman wasted no time and charged forward violently causing Draig to actually get launched this time.
Zarra watching this was also a bit curious and turned his head towards Rodolfo.
”Don't look at me, the woman tried to attack me the same way. She isn't one for words and from what she did say I could gather she was an overly righteous feminist” stated Rodolfo, the woman was annoying for him to head up against.
Down on the ground though Draig was being put through the ringer, with the metal armor surrounding the woman her physical capabilities easily surpassed his. Metal had a fatal weakness though and he was more than willing to exploit it if he could gain the time he needed to cast it.
The woman proceeded to slam Draig into the ground repeatedly until he went limp, sensing no movement from her victim she turned and looked towards the sky at Rodolfo and Zarra as if confused.
Draig opened one of his eyes as lightning crackled around his index and middle finger before being channeled into the armor wearing woman, now that he had a clear look it seemed to him that it was similar to the looks of an iron maiden.
Draig didn't let up as he saw the spasms happening through out the body due to the jerking of the armor, the longer it lasted the more violent the tremors became until the woman began screaming bloody murder but Draig no longer focused his eyes on the woman instead making a pointed look at Zarra and Rodolfo.
The meaning was clear, Draig would come for them. Soon he returned his gaze to the silent jerking set of armor watching as smoke began to drift off of it. Releasing the magic for the spell Draig lied in his current position in pain, he really wasn't in the mood to move only having raised his arm earlier out of necessity. Sylvie eventually came to his side using her sword as a crutch.
Turning his head slightly he saw that the bleeding stump had been frozen over and Tina came along shortly after her arm replaced with an ice prosthetic.
”Sylvie gather everyone after you have gotten some rest, we're going to kill someone” said Draig looking up towards the sky.
'Mortals are so conniving, taking children and forcing them to kill each other in the name of training, hiring criminals to assist in the slaughter. I have had enough of these guys and their petty schemes but I can't do it alone' thought Draig staring at that cold gaze looking at him across the distance, at least what he believed to be a cold gaze.
Draig was lost in his own little world as he thought of his life since he got the system, it hadn't been easy. He had always had to deal with bias and seclusion and now that he had wanted to be secluded he was surrounded. He loved the fact he had become stronger and he enjoyed the idea of his new abilities but he was unable to make humanity pay if all of them died here in this damn training.
