5 Setting up Shop (1/2)

Draig was furious, they couldn't leave him alone. He had stayed to himself but they couldn't even leave him be, he stared at the city in the distance. He felt his heart surge with hatred, he was not a monster but if that's what they wanted then that's what he would become.

'They want to treat me as the monster of my system, then so be it' thought Draig as he began a ruthless slaughter through the Forbidden zone powered by his hunger for vengeance he drank the blood of countless monsters and soon felt his his next advancement drawing near.

”I will achieve strength beyond the capabilities of these humans, I will become their monster and when I do I will return to seek my vengeance” said Draig softly as he returned to the mountain.

He would set up his own domain here in the forbidden zone, he would organize these lower beings into his own forces. He would show them all he was not to be trifled with.

Meanwhile on the farm the guild leaders had assembled at the farm only to find it empty, even the farm house was cleaned out. It was at this moment that a earthen hand rose up and swatted at this group of people.

Barely dodging the group looked at the hand in surprise, they hadn't even sensed it. If it hadn't been for their instincts they would have actually been hit but their intrigue was soon replaced with horror when a body followed the hand and more joined the monster as it stood before the group a bloody red glow shining from its chest.

”What is this” asked the rotund man

”It seems he was aware of our reason for coming and decided to escape before we could arrive” said the old man gaining nods from the rest.

”It is not his right to keep such a treasure for himself, we are giving him our resources but he dares to keep such a relic to himself” said the old man with potions strapped around his waist.

The group were staring at the earth golems with a wary look, they had fought monsters like this before in the wild but they lacked intelligence but these had waited for them and struck at the most opportune moment.

”Why would he leave these here if he was abandoning this place” wondered another of the group
