”Aww… But only to you, babe.” He replied promptly.

Kiang Leilei rolled her eyes at him and did not utter a word.

”What can I do to make you believe me?” He asked, his voice gentle and sweet.

Still, she did not answer. She instead kept silent as her right pointing finger moved around the left side of his chest, sulking. Unconsciously, her finger was tracing the heart shape over his skin.

”Lei… Are you upset about what I said earlier? About me not ready to fall in love with you yet? Actually… I already did.” Wang Yuvin finally decided to reveal his true feelings for Kiang Leilei since he did not want her to think that he just took advantage of her gratitude.

”I think it was when I saw your portrait inside you grandfather's office. Love at first sight, I guess? But Like I said, my life is still a mess. That's why I did not dare pursue you. Who am I to have his heart set on such a fine woman? That will be asking for too much.” He continued to speak as his arms wrapped tighter around her soft body.

”I decided to forget you. Even though you and your grandfather were desperately looking for me, I was determined not to be caught. But who would have thought that after the incident in your company, our paths will cross again?” Wang Yuvin moved his one hand to caress her hair.

”Was it fate? Destiny? Well, I don't really know. But one thing became clear to me. My heart felt elated when I saw you again in the boutique.” He was not done speaking yet when Kiang Leilei suddenly pulled herself away from his body, interrupting him. His confusion then instantly turned into worry when he saw tears rolling down her cheeks. He was about to reach out for her face to wipe her tears dry when Kiang Leilei grabbed his hands and squeezed them tightly.

”These are tears of joy. I am so happy that you feel the same towards me. That you still accepted me despite of me not being clean anymore. I am sorry that you have to go through such trouble. I understand that it is not the right time for us, so I will just detach myself from you. But please know this, I think we are meant for each other. That is why I will wait for you until I become yours and you become mine, forever.” Kiang Leilei said as her tears burst forth like a broken dam.

Overwhelmed with joy and relief, Wang Yuvin pulled Kiang Leilei back to his arms and gave her a quick kiss on her head.

”How about we marry in secret? I do not want you lose you again and heaven knows what will Kim Yang do just to have his hands on you. I will just give my all so that I can still keep you safe and away from danger.” The moment Wang Yuvin mentioned the intent of marrying her, Kiang Leilei's tears halted from coming out.

”We cannot do that! I have to finish my studies first. And I do not want to deceive grandfather. It will surely break his fragile heart. I already broken his heart once. I do not want to make the same mistake again.”
