”Master!” The head manager called out loud to Wang Yuvin who just went out of his private room together with Kiang Leilei.
Wang Yuvin who was behind Kiang Leilei quickly moved forward to meet the manager who seemed to be worried over something.
”What's the matter, manager? You look worried.” Wang Yuvin asked as soon as he got closer to the manager.
”Doctor Yang and his son had already left the premises while council Yun is still inside his room.Council Yun is not the type of person who easily accepts defeat. I then decided to spy on him to see how he will deal with your punishment to his friend.” The head manager explained as his hands wiped the beads of sweat on his forehead.
”And what did you find out?” Wang Yuvin suddenly asked, but when he realized that Council Yun was still Kiang Leilei's father he immediately turned around to check the woman's reaction.
”I don't even mind. Go ahead, just continue your talk.” Kiang Leilei quickly replied when Wang Yuvin turned around to face her.
”Thank you. This won't take long.” Wang Yuvin then turned his attention to the manager, gesturing him to continue talking.
”He ordered his assistant to contact the othershareowners for a meeting. I am not sure if others will acknowledge this. But just be ready in case, master.” The manager warned Wang Yuvin for an upcoming storm.
”I'm always ready. Thanks for the heads up by the way. We will be going now.” Wang Yuvin quickly replied as he offered a hand to Kiang Leilei, making the girl blush for the nth time but she was quick to lower down her head and hid her reaction from Wang Yuvin.
Kiang Leilei was about to reach out for Wang Yuvin's hand when the guy suddenly stooped his head down to find out why Kiang Leilei was looking at the floor.
”What's wrong? Did you see something on the ground?” Wang Yuvin mimicked the direction of Kiang Leilei's gaze to the floor.
Startled, Kiang Leilei's initial reaction was to move her head towards Wang Yuvin. And to her surprise, her gaze met with Wang Yuvin's. They were so close to each other that Kiang Leilei felt Wang Yuvin's warm breathe brushed the skin of her face.
”Too close...” Kiang Leilei almost whimpered, making Wang Yuvin move away from her.
