168 Returning the Favor (1/2)
After council Yun had decided to take his friend Dr. Yang to the master shareowner who he thought was still Chairman Xu, he then instructed his men to keep an eye on his daughter and to never let her out of the room unless she agreed to sign the documents stating that she will marry the person whose signature was also on the documents right after their graduation.
”This is illegal detention! I will tell grams about this!” Kiang Leilei was about to pull her phone out from inside her purse when her father grabbed her hands and snatched her phone away.
”I will confiscate this since you are being stubborn. Stay here with Kim for a while. Get to know each other and try to establish a connection. Who knows right after your talk you will fall in love with him.” Council Yun said as he gently patted Kiang Leilei's head.
”Really? Do you think that falling in love is just that easy? You and mother even had sex but you did not fall in love with each other.” Kiang Leilei scoffed as she spoke with much sarcasm and bitterness.
”Just wait for me here, Lei. Father will just be downstairs.” Council Yun seemed not to pay attention to Kiang Leilei's words. After talking to his daughter, he then turned his attention to Yang Kim.
”Kim, please understand my daughter. She is a spoiled brat because of her grandfather. But I am sure once she gets to know you more she will eventually warm up to you.” Council Yun said as he gently squeezed the man's shoulders.
”I perfectly understand Lei. As a gentleman that I am, I won't force myself to her. I will just wait until the day she voluntarily submits herself to me.” Yang Kim's answered impressed both his father and council Yun. Unfortunately, the effect on Kiang Leilei was the opposite. She became even more disgusted with Yang Kim for she knew better than anyone else that the guy was a wolf in sheep's clothing. Not wanting to see the guy's face, Kiang Leilei then turned her gaze away from the guy and stared at the ceiling to floor window instead.
Just when the two patriarchs were about to move towards the door, Wang Yuvin suddenly showed up in front of them.
”Who are you? Who let this guy into the second floor?” Council Yun asked, his face seemed displeased.
”What can I say? Seems like you have some moves, kid. You managed to get past my bodyguards unharmed.” Dr. Yang was shocked and impressed at the same time.
”Master, sorry if we kept you waiting. We are in fact on our way to the lounge.” The guy who seemed to be the leader of the security immediately apologized to Wang Yuvin.
”What did you just call him? Master?” Council Yun asked as confusion and curiosity enveloped the entire room.
”Good day, everyone. Please allow me to introduce the new major shareowner of the Hideout, Mr. Y!” Just before the confusion created another misunderstanding and heated argument, the head manager who just came downstairs, told everyone who Wang Yuvin was.
”W-what? How come?” Council Yun's eyes almost fell out of their sockets upon learning who Wang Yuvin was.
”Chairman Xu sold his shares to Mr. Y. So, whether council Yun likes it or not, this fine young man here is the new master of the Hideout.”
”Sorry for the intrusion, council Yun. But this friend of yours ordered his bodyguards to beat me. As the new master of the Hideout, this act of disrespect will not be tolerated.” Wang Yuvin spoke as his eyes searched for the lovely figure he saw earlier.
As soon as Kiang Leilei heard the familiar voice, her worried heart suddenly calmed down. However, it started to race faster again once she turned around and saw the owner of the voice.
'It's him!' Kiang Leilei's heart jumped in joy as she saw and recognized the person who saved her life. However, that happy feeling only lasted for a moment when she had recalled how the guy told the little girl that she was not pretty!
