Sensing that the person in his arms had fallen asleep, Qin Sho began to walk slowly, being careful not to disturb her sleep. He was totally being mindful of his steps that he failed to notice the person who had just entered the bar's entrance the same time he had stepped out from its door exit.

Zhang Chenric was still catching his breath the moment he entered inside the bar. His eyes then scanned the vicinity to search for Wang Reiji. Unfortunately, the person he was looking for had already moved past him at the same time he had set foot inside the bar.

”Was he really that woman's husband?” Zhang Chenric heard someone from the crowd said.

”Maybe, she did not resist him when he carried her princess style.” Another person amongst the crowd replied.

Another person had joined the conversation.

”Husband and wife or not, it's none of your business.” Bai Wufei suddenly appeared behind them right after he had disposed of the two guys.

The people who were talking about Qin Sho and Wang Reiji immediately went silent as they recalled how this guy had thrashed the men who bullied the woman. They then exchanged glances at each other before they decided to escape the scene.

For whatever reason, Zhang Chenric somehow felt that the woman they were referring to was Wang Reiji. However, the idea that a man, the woman's alleged husband had shown up to pick her up, threw him into confusion.

Frustrated at the same time experiencing jet lag, he pulled his phone, or what initially he thought was his, out from his coat's pocket. When he was about to dial his assistant's number a sudden realization had hit him when he saw a photo of a lovely little girl on the phone's screen.

The phone he was holding wasn't his. It was Wang Reiji's. He then heaved a sigh of disappointment before his eyes had locked into the screen of Wang Reiji's phone.
