”Leave the preparations to me, boss. Once Gianna got hired as a secretary, everything will be just like a walk in the park.” Hanzo sounded very confident with his words.

”It's settled then. Gianna will apply as an assistant or an office staff first. Once she's in, Hanz will make the necessary preparations for the next stage of our plans.” Wang Reiji said before finishing her liquor.

”You will receive your funds tomorrow morning then you can start with your tasks. That will be all for now. Let's just meet again after two weeks.” Wang Reiji added as she stood up and picked up her things, preparing to leave.

”I understood, big sis. See you in two weeks. And as for you Hanzo, go get another unit, I won't let you spend a night here ever again!”

”How can you be so beautiful outside and ugly in the inside? Have you no heart? At least let me stay here for a night!” With pleading eyes, Hanzo tried to sway Gianna's decision.

”No! You snore like a lion when you sleep! I must have a good rest for my application tomorrow.”

”The two of you look really cute when you are quarreling. If ever you both decided to marry each other, I'll let you guys have your wedding reception in Oriental Europa's banquet hall for free.” Wang Reiji started teasing them again.

”I think I'd rather seduce an old man than marry an idiot!” Gianna said as she stared daggers at Hanzo.

Hearing Gianna's words, Wang Reiji felt something nostalgic. She then recalled how she had said the same exact words to Zhang Chenric when he accused her of having an affair with her adoptive father. After that argument, their relationship started to roll downhill. Well, they could have patched things up, but someone had stepped into the picture andsuccessfully torn them apart.

Noticing how Wang Reiji became silent, Gianna then apologized, thinking that Wang Reiji probably got annoyed of her constant whining.

”It wasn't your fault Gianna. Maybe the effect of the alcohol started to kick in.” Wang Reiji tried to comfort Gianna.

”Hanz, you can stay at my assistant's house for a while. I will send him a message to pick you up.”

Soon after Wang Reiji had finished speaking, she bid them goodbye and hurriedly went out of the room. While moving her way toward the elevator, she decided to search for her car keys inside her bag. After some few more steps she bumped into someone. She then stopped on her tracks to apologize.

”S-sorry, it was my fault. I wasn't...”

Wang Reiji suddenly felt a cold chill ran up her spine the moment she cast her eyes upward to take a look at the person she just bumped into. Her heart then started hammering her ribcage when she realized who the person was.

She was about to run away, unfortunately, it was too late. The person already had his eyes on her as she stood there from both fear and excitement.

Without uttering a word, the person started to move his head closer to hers.

The person then kissed her, making her world fell away.
