82 Will history repeat itself? (1/2)

At that very instant, after hearing Wang Reiji's answer to his father, Qin Sho felt uneasy as his brain started to process her words. With a blank expression, he asked,

”How did you know that he has Europa's photograph?”

Wang Reiji paused for a while, contemplating whether to let the two gentlemen know that she ransacked Zhang Chenric's house. She was about to open her lips to tell them the truth when Wang Yuvin suddenly answered for her.

”I hacked the guy's computer and saw some files about us.”

Qin Sho nodded his head seemingly convinced with Wang Yuvin's words.

”I see. I thought you did something reckless. But you have to be extra careful from now on. Other than us, you can't just trust anybody easily.”

”Sho is right, you can't just trust anyone. Moreover, this is not your territory. But if the situation asks us to go all out maybe it's best to rally the old members.” Chairman Qin looked serious when he gave his suggestion.

”I don't think so, Uncle Luo. They are not related to us anymore. Besides, I don't want to drag them to this. This matter is something personal and must be dealt solely by us.”

Qin Sho twitched his mouth. Why didWang Reiji's words suddenly make him feel bad?

”Since this is something personal and might bring chains of unbearable consequences, I am humbly asking the Qin family to not involve themselves with us anymore.”

”Reiji! What are you talking about?! This is something personal to me as well! Didn't I promise Isamu that I will take care of you in his stead? Why are you cutting ties with us? Weren't you the one who said we are a family?” The chairman can't help but raised his voice in anger and disappointment as he felt betrayed by Wang Reiji.

Inhaling deeply, Wang Reiji gathered all her courage before she retorted.

”Uncle Luo, please listen to me first. Your family is so dear to us. That is why we don't want any harm to come your way. And yes, I said that we consider you guys as family, which is yet another reason to exclude you from this dangerous game of revenge.”

”And... Just in case we failed this fight, we still have some people to look over Europa.” Wang Reiji's eyes flashed an extreme amount of sadness as she mentioned her daughter's name.

”What's with that negativity? Don't you have confidence in yourself and your brother? And why do I get the feeling that you are looking down on us?” Qin Sho's tone was calm yet his words brought a strong impact on them.

”I am not looking down on anyone, Sho. I'm just simply stating facts and possibilities. And didn't you say that we need to be extra careful? Please forgive me, but this is my own way of being very careful.”

Wang Reiji paused for a while before she continued.
