It was a typical monday morning in Beijing. Wang Reiji got up early to avoid the hustle and bustle of the streets. Chaun will drive her to the office while RenTao will go there directly to prepare her breakfast. Before they left the Villa, Wang Reiji instructed her bodyguards to stay low key. She doesn't want to attract unnecessary attention.

On their way to Paragon Tower, they passed by a digital billboard. Wang Reiji opened her eyes wide. She even opened the window of her Porsche Panamera to get a better view of the person shown on the billboard.

At first, she thought she was just seeing things, but when the man's name flashed on the screen, things became certain.

'Zhang Chenric...'

Wang Reiji stared out her car window. The man's name and face were enough to take her back to that awful night five years ago, the night that had changed Wang Reiji's life.

”Chenric! Please listen to me. You misunderstood the situation. There's nothing going on between me and Mr. Isam-”

The anxious Zhang Chenric suddenly cupped Wang Reiji's face in his hands.

”How many times do I need to tell you not to say that filthy old man's name!”

Zhang Chenric growled in anger upon hearing Wang Reiji's words.

”C-Chenric, please calm down. You're scaring me.” Wang Reiji said with a trembling voice and teary eyes.

Zhang Chenric let out a loud chuckle.

”So, you're starting to get scared now huh? That's good Yin, you should be scared! Be really scared! After all you're siding with a crime lord!”
