”B-boss I... ”

RenTao just wanted to dig a hole for him to hide. How can he survive this situation? A simple apology and even an elaborate explanation will never be enough to pacify his boss' anger. He would rather be struck by lightning than be punished by her. RenTao tried to open his mouth again when the ringing sound shattered the awkward silence. It is Wang Reiji's phone.

Wang Reiji's darkened face suddenly lit up upon laying her eyes on the screen of her phone. It is her daughter Europa calling.

”Darling princess, what is it? Why are you still up? ” The fury in her voice instantly disappeared and was replaced by sweetness instead. It was just 9 am in Beijing. It should be around 9 pm in Europa's place by now.

”Mama! I called you to remind you of Uncle Sho's party for you. I asked Mr. RenTao to add it on your schedule for today. Did he remind you?”

Wang Reiji pinched the skin between her eyebrows. So it was her daughter who sold her out. Before she answered the queries from the other line she decided to get inside the limo and instructed RenTao.

”Let's head to the villa.”

”Right away boss!”

The lifeless RenTao moments ago was now revived thanks to their Little Miss. If Miss Europa's call was a bit late he could have really lost his life.

Wang Reiji let out a long sigh before going back to her phonecall.

”My darling baby, what did mama tell you about this trip? Didn't you promise me that my visit to Beijing will be a secret? Why did you inform Uncle Sho?”
