”Hehe, that's what you get for being so persistent,” Kiko muttered after Brai's figure disappeared in the myriad of fireballs.

Meanwhile, it seemed as though a smaller version of the sun descended on the stage. Everyone who was looking at it could not help feeling worried.

Is the barrier able to protect them? Such thoughts linger in their minds. Those fireballs looked so intimidating. As though it would blow up the whole city just looking at it.

Out of a sudden, a blinding burst of light erupted.

But a second later, the victory grin on Kiko's face froze on the spot.

The stage went back to normal. The myriad of fireballs vanished on stage. As though they were just illusions from the start.

On stage, there was only the shocked Kiko. And Brai, who is now in a set of shiny silver armor. That armor, everyone believed, was enchanted as well.

But how did a set of armor take care of those fireballs? None of them could explain, but they guess Brai did something.

A second later, a drop of water fell. Then it was followed by another. Though, it is weird that the rain only happened on the stage.

”I see. So, it's elemental armor,” Yman muttered.

”Yeah,” Almina agreed to him.

The others looked at them as they began discussing it. In this Academy, only a few students had possession of it. Since Brai showed him, he's one of those few now.

It wasn't easy to own such equipment. Besides the cost, it was a super rare piece of equipment. The items for crafting it were hard to gather by normal means.

Regardless, Yman had no idea how the rain generated and how Brai vanished all the fireballs.

Almina, too, could not explain it. They guessed that Brai used his enchantment ability along with his elemental armor.

Nonetheless, the glow on Brai's armor slowly fades away. It also means he could not use the skill he used a while ago.

He needed to wait another minute to use it again.

From the air, Kiko came rushing towards Brai. ”Bastard!” He gave up the long-range attacks and went for the melee. A big flat sword materialized in his hand. Kiko, who was wielding it in both hands, brandished the sword on Brai.

”Earth-Shattering!” He shouted.

The last time Yman witnessed it, it was already strong. But now, it is a lot stronger. Spider-web cracks appeared beneath Brai, who was receiving Kiko's attack.

Another second, the cracks became bigger until the debris flew away, revealing a broken stage.

”Receiving that attack is just too much, isn't it?” Almina asked with a frown.

Yman nodded while revealing a bitter smile. ”Yes, of course. But I think Brai wanted to parry it. Just that, it went wrong. Maybe Brai did not expect the power of Kiko's attack.” He said his thoughts to reply to Almina.

Also that Earth-Shattering attack of Kiko generated an invisible force. Yman did not mention it. However, he believed that it was the reason that Brai was now flying away like a bowling ball after receiving Kiko's Earth-Shattering attack.

Almina agreed to Yman's deduction.

There was a noticeable decrease in Brai's health bar that was in the large monitor.

If not because of his armor, the damage might be a bit higher. Still, it wasn't able to prevent the invisible force that knocked him away.

After a slight cough, Brai immediately stood up and rushed to attack Kiko.

The two exchanges strike in the middle of the broken stage. They weren't ordinary strikes, they were strong and heavy strikes.

Kiko had the upper hand in the strength category, but Brai's talent in wielding his katana made up for it.
