Chapter 296: Amused VIPs (1/2)

Regardless, it puzzled Rea why a descendant of a well-known family in the empire chose to come to this academy. Though no laws were prohibiting them to choose an academy they wished to join. But still, it was unusual for Rea.

Jugo in his Prime State technique was now standing aloft while facing his enemy with too much pride. He believed with his current state he could defeat his enemy with ease.

While he was clad in scarlet armor that formed from his mana alone, the bracelets in his hands and legs were shining in gold color.

Yman squinted his eyes as he was gazing at Jugo. He was quite surprised by the scarlet armor that Jugo was currently wearing.

”How did you do it?” He asked.

”Heh!”

Upon hearing him, Jugo just sneered at him but did not answer. But soon he opened his mouth again. ”Even if I tell you, there's no way you can understand,” replied Jugo in a cold voice. It was their family's secret technique.

After hearing his reply, Yman made a silent laugh. He knew that Jugo was looking down at him just based on how he looked at him. Besides, Yman had a notion that the scarlet armor was made the same way he made his Fire Dolls. But the process of making it what made Yman so curious about it.

While Yman was pondering, Jugo was gathering mana on both hands. Then it slowly formed into spheres. From a little sphere to a sphere as big as volleyball.

Sneak-like sparks were trailing around it. They were like electric spheres. Yman's intuition told him that they weren't simple spheres. Before he knew it, Jugo already threw one of the spheres at him. Yman evaded by running to the side. He succeeded in evading it and the sphere hit where he was standing just a second ago.

Creeeek! BOOM!

A bead of sweat trailed down on Yman's face when he glanced and saw the sphere explode after an electrifying sound and animation.

Yet he had no time to have his attention occupied by it as his perception perceived a coming danger. Yman dove and rolled to his side. Just right after doing it, the other sphere passed by at him at an inch distance away from his face. Like the first sphere, it also exploded after an electrifying noise and animation.

He could feel the power of it based on the explosion alone. It was dangerous. He thought. But soon, Yman gawked when another sphere came towards him. ”Eh?!” He uttered in surprise. 'How come he already summoned another one?' He asked inwardly. 'Wait! Is there no time lag in his attack?' Yman started to doubt.

It looks like this wolfman was not an ordinary opponent. Yman smiled inwardly.

On the other hand, Rea was wondering why Crimson chose to evade them. He was called Crimson Canceller in the guild for a reason. But looked at him now! He was avoiding those attacks. Rea wondered.

On the stage, Yman did his best to evade. On the contrary, Jugo was amusingly raining long-range attacks at him. ”Now, stop running and die!”

Bang! Bang! Bang!

While he was evading the enemy's attack he noticed his enemy was throwing spheres faster and faster. 'Could it be… some kind of passive ability?' Yman suspected while running in a circle around the enemy.

Jugo was now standing in the middle of the stage while unceasingly sending electrifying spheres to Yman.

Yman increased his speed as he noticed Jugo's attack speed kept on increasing.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Scattered explosions reverberated on the stage. Some even hit the barrier and shook it. Fortunately, the barrier was strong enough to endure the power caused by the explosions.

”What kind of battle is this?” One of the VIPs asked subconsciously.

”Oh, I never thought this match would become so exciting,” another VIP said in an amused tone.
