Chapter 292: Furious Jugo (1/2)
(A/N: There is a mistake in the last chapter. Yana meant to say Moderator instead of Channeler. I edited it already.)
Yman did something awesome for landing a hit to his elite opponent, however, most of the trainees thought that it was a lucky hit. Chloe and Bob also thought the same. If not lucky what else could it be? Even if Yman had become stronger after his disappearance, it was unthinkable that he surpassed an elite so suddenly. It was impossible. There was a reason why those elites were elites. They have exceptional growth compared to those non-elites.
Yana had no idea what her brother was like inside the academy. But she did not need to see it with her eyes to know. She could feel that her brother was not doing good in the academy just by looking at his beat-up face whenever he came back from it. Furthermore, she was surprised as well that her brother could still fight an opponent that she heard was a student with a higher potential than him.
But if ever her suspicion about him was right, about being one of the Moderators, then perhaps he could win. She had no idea how strong an elite student was. But she was certain that her brother had low physical strength. So, to win the fight, he needed to depend on his special ability, the Time Warp that Miss Rea spoke of.
But for Yana, no matter what happened, Yman was the coolest big brother she ever had, and she was proud to have him as her brother.
”Big bro… Fight!”
”Eh?”
Yana cheered and Rea was slightly surprised. She glanced and saw Yana cupping her hands on her chest. She must be praying for her brother's success. Rea smiled at the warm feeling that transpired. She was happy that Crimson has a lovable sister.
”Don't worry, Yana. There's no way that guy will lose,” Yana suddenly heard Rea say. Yana was surprised at Rea's words because it brought a feeling that Rea was certain that her brother, Yman, would never lose for certain. She had no idea what relationship his brother had with Miss Rea, but the way Rea said it told her that the two of them had an understanding of each other.
Yana was so happy that her brother found a friend that trusted him, no wonder he looks different now.
While Yana was contemplating, the audience cheered once again. On the stage, Jugo launched another attack on Yman. This time he did not use a charging attack, instead, he engaged him in a melee. Jugo, although most of the time acting like a muscle brain, would quickly gear up when he thought something was amiss. Especially that it was already two times that his attack was evaded by this opponent of his.
He was not looking at him equally or highly, rather, he was looking down on his opponent. Just that, his wolfman instinct was telling him that he needed to change the way he was fighting, if not, it might be a huge, unredeemable blunder if he keeps messing up.
”Yar, yar, yar!”
Jugo sent multiple slashes that could tear his opponent to pieces if ever one successfully hit. Fueled by hype coming from the audiences, Jugo increased his speed. It was like the air was raining with scratch marks. More and more scratch marks were accumulating in the air. Before the first one disappeared, one or two came marks came ahead. After a few seconds, the noise coming from the cheers was gradually diminishing. Everyone held their breath from the intensity of Jugo's attack.
