Chapter 259: The Useless Prince (1/2)

A few days before Yman and Rea were called to the palace.

Inside a grand-looking room, a young man with long pointed ears was anxiously resting his unbearded chin on his fingers of two hands that were entangled together, whereas his elbows were on the table.

His white-skinned face showed an unhappy emotion, in which his long slender eyebrows were twitching to form creases on his flat forehead.

His cold-looking eyes with ruby-red pupils were fixedly staring to the front. But his focus wasn't there; it was beyond what was in front of him. And they were gleaming that full of hostility towards something.

A pair of two long white bangs were framing the sides of his cone-shaped face, but the man wasn't a white-haired man. He had long jet black hair, wrapped neatly at the back of his head

The man was wearing a long elegant suit of maroon and golden color.

Below the table, the heel of his expensive-looking shoe was repeatedly tapping the tiled floor, creating beats of unmelodious noise.

Itwas easy to guess that he was anxious about something.

In truth, he was glaring at the three people who were on their knees in front of him.

”What did you say?” he asked in a cold voice.

”Y-Your Highness, the first, second, and third groups failed to abduct Princess Merea Ella. Gulp!” Scar reported then swallowed his saliva in fright.

In front of them was the third prince of Nara Kingdom, Prince Angus De Nara. And currently, they are inside the private room of the palace.

The table made a crisp impact after the prince smashed his palm onto it. 'Ouch, dammit, it really hurts!' He groaned inwardly. He was a person who had a broken Soul Container. Because of it, he could not use any mage craft spell. And because he had a broken Soul Container, he wasn't as strong as other people who can cast a spell. In other words, he was useless.

Soul Container was also known as Hollow Cell, Magician's Seed, Dantian, and etcetera. Every country had a different naming sense, but all of them had the same meaning. Having a damaged Soul Container also means useless.

He was a useless person despite being a prince of the Nara Kingdom.

Two people out of three shuddered in fear upon noticing the unkind expression on the prince's face. It was Scar and Fang, and the remaining person was Gath. The three of them arrived here a few days ago.

Back to the prince. Although he was useless, could not cast a spell, no one was looking down at him inside the palace. After all, even though he was unable to cast a spell, around them, they could perceive a killing aura in the air. It was coming from around them.

This whole room was under the watch of some elite individuals.

Even Gath could not see them with naked eyes. But Gath's intuition was telling Gath that the whole room was heavily guarded by strong people.

But Gathwas guessing that these stealth people around them were the personal guard of the useless prince.

They have the strength equivalent to Gath, or if not, they were stronger.

But the biggest problem is the prince himself. Although he is a useless prince, he is a cunning person. It was Gath's honest thought.

”Are you an idiot that is incapable of thinking?” Coldly said the Prince after hearing their reports.
