Howls and wails coming from everywhere reached his ears. He even perceived some presence not far from him.

However, Yman gawked when he detected an ominous presence. He could not tell the exact distance of the creature, but based on the pressure it was exuding, it was in the level or above the Demonic beast they fought inside the world in the painting of Rea.

Even Sistela gave him a warning.

Yman summoned the Map section. At this state that his eyesight wasn't helpful, it was adequate to use the Map Section of his System Deity.

The holographic map could tell him the exact direction. Together with his perception, it was easy for him to figure the direction of the ominous aura.

As expected, after summoning his Map, he learned that the ominous aura came from the northwest of the mountain.

After collecting the needed sample, he summoned his mount Enhanced Fire Doll bird. He quickly jumped on top of it and soared away.

But Yman went into a sudden stop in just a couple of seconds that had passed when he flew towards the direction of the strong presence.

The reason for his stop was because one of his scout birds transmitted him something. Several people were flying in his direction.

Estimating their speed anddistancefrom him, he believed that they would arrive at a minimum of 30 seconds; He quickly maneuvered the mount to hide in the sea of trees.

He landed on the tree branch and waited for them to pass by. If he wanted to figure out their identity, he could control his scout bird to fly at a relatively close distance from them. But he decided to disregard the thought as most Demihumans had high perception ability, especially the people from the Canine sect.

Even at 100 meters distance, his scout bird wasn't safe from them. He knew someone from the Lupine family who had a perception ability that could reach 150 meters away.

So, at the moment, he could only maintain the distance of 100 meters from them. With that distance, he believed that they would assume that his scout bird was just a low ranking beast.

Just as Yman estimated, the people passed by after 31 seconds. Though, he gawked upon seeing them because he knew all of them. They were the people from the Department of Security!

He was surprised to see them, but it happened only for instance. He could probably guess their reason for coming to the mountain-- to investigate.

He also saw that woman named Betty together with the others. In the lead was, as expected, the Senior Leader.

He then summoned his Dino Enhance Fire Doll and followed after them.

It was better to follow them below because it was hard to perceive his presence because of the thickened miasma.

The people from the Department of Security were unaware of his presence. They continued flying towards the west of the mountain.

Yman, on the other hand, had to kill some of the monsters that tried to block him. Fortunately, most of them were only low-ranking beasts.

After a couple of minutes, the people from the Department of Security spun in a circle above the seemingly abandoned building.

Yman hid in the bushes a few meters away.
