Chapter 161: Employer (2/2)
”A body?!”
”Wait, Isn't he one of us!”
Scar's ear twitched upon hearing Fang's remarks.
He was right, the person who rolled on the ground was one of their men. He was the person Scar tasked to hostage the kid and brought it to the Back River. But how was he thrown here?
The body was twitching. And they noticed that some part of his body was missing.
”He lost his arms!?”
One of his men immediately rushed forward to check the person.
”Hey! Are you okay?! What happened buddy?”
He saw the guy having a face as pale as ghost.
”The heck what happened!”
Scar and the others frowned.
The guy was barely alive, but still able to glance around him. When he saw their Boss Scar, ”B-Boss, t-that person is d-danger— ous,” said the person who lost his arms.
”Wait, how about the others?” Scar asked but it was too late.
”Boss, he already lost his consciousness!” Fang reported.
Although there were many ways to regrow back his arms, the cost wasn't cheap. It would be good if there was a high-level healer who could cast high tier healing which is called Restoration.
”Finish him,” he coldly said.
”But Boss…”
”We can't bring back a useless fool!” He bellowed.
”O-okay Boss!”
Shing!
Blood splattered after Fang pierced a dagger into the unconscious person's chest. ”Damn it!” He muttered in regret.
Scar narrowed his eyes. 'What was happening here? And what he meant by -that person- words of his?' Scar pondered. In any case, they must continue the plan ”Let's go!” He couldn't stop the plan just because he lost a man.
A moment before they resumed their steps. Everyone froze once again.
Waaahhhh!
Nooooooo!
Heeeelp!
Gyaaaaaah!
”Monster! Monster! Get away from me! Get away from me!”
GYAAAAAAAHHH!!!
Everyone heard some crying voices.
”What's that?” Fang asked.
”Boss, it's coming from the Back River!” One of their companions announced.
Fang and Scar looked at each other.
”Let's go! We can't waste our time here!”
”Yes, Boss!”
The group wanted to proceed yet, ”wait what is that?”
One of his men was staring above.
”What the he—ll is that…” Scar muttered in disbelief.
