”Well, venerable Sir, what do you think?” He asked.

After examining and feeding the arrow with magic, the soldier nodded in agreement.

It looks like he mistakenly claimed 'the arrow was made from low-rank Demon Wood.' It certainly came from rank B+ Demon Wood.

”But Kid, is it not still too expensive for an arrow? Even if this was made from rank B+, I think it is still overpriced, ” the soldier said.

”Kufufu, venerable Sir, what is money without life? Don't think you can redeem your life with points after you die. As long as you're alive, points or money will come back to you, as long as you work on it. But if your life is gone, it will be lost forever,” Yman said while his hands, gesturing, can't be helped.

”Well..... When you said it that way. I see no room for arguments.”

Later on, the soldier had decided to buy. Until more customers were coming to buy on him, at the moment, he sold 30 sets. And now he accumulated 300 points; he grinned from ear to ear. Now he could buy a decent skill. If Yman was not mistaken, there was a cheap skill that he could buy.

The soldiers were joyful too, after all, the arrows they had bought could penetrate the resilient shells of the monsters.

His arrows were unbending because of the crazy experiment that Yman did.

There's one type of slime which is unaffected by magic. Because whenever you shoot magic on it, it's body becomes tougher and harder.

Luckily this type of slime is not hostile to humans. And they were tameable too with a Taming Skill. But most magicians choose not to tame these kinds of monsters. Because they were too weak, they had low attack.

But Yman has a crazy idea to experiment using these slimes urine. He soaked the arrows for about a week, until every fiber of its wood that was made from Demon Woods was able to absorb the liquid.

And that's the reason why his arrows that are made from low-rank Demon Woods have hardened and became unbendable after feeding with magic.

Because of the hardness, the penetration force has increased as well.

The battle was unceasing and many casualties from both sides. But unlike before, as of now, the soldier was able to hold their ground until their reinforcement arrived.

”Soldier Moore, go buy another set of arrows at the kid vendor, ” the Commander ordered his soldier.

When Yman heard it, he grinned even broader. Not just he could profit with this chaos, he also was able to help in defending the town.

But too bad, he wasn't able to see what monsters were attacking outside because the civilians were not allowed to go to the wall surface. He can't even peek outside because the wall was too high. But based on what he heard from soldiers, there was a mutated rank BB+ Wolf and Shelled Ants monsters. This kind of ants was as big as a cat. They were covered by shells, and hard to deal with.

Not long after Yman emptied his stock of arrows, reinforcements from the Seeker Association arrived.

They'd be small in number with only 10 people in total, but each one of them exudes dominating aura and brimming with confidence that couldn't be lost to a platoon of soldiers.

They were wearing expensive-looking armors and robes. In hands and somewhere part of their body, fasten different types of weapons.

Everyone who saw them would know that these people were magicians of a higher caliber.

Yman's eyes were sparkling with excitement. He yearns to become the strongest Seeker in the future.
