This was Emily's real smile, and it came from the bottom of her heart. For such a long time, Emily had seldom smiled as sincerely as this.

But now, she flaunted this smile more frequently than before.

Seeing her so happy, Jacob could not bear to say anything that might seem critical of what she had said.

'Forget it. Besides, I'm here to deal with anything that might happen. As long as it makes her happy, I'll let her do it!' he thought.

The doctor performed a gastric lavage on Carlos, and he extracted the key from his stomach. He gave Jacob the key along with a note of instructions concerning Carlos's condition.

Emily took the note from Jacob and walked to Cherish. ”Miss Shen, Mr. Li can't get out of bed for the time being. Why don't you both stay here tonight?” she suggested.

”Well...”. . . . . Cherish hesitated. But after considering Carlos's current situation, she agreed. ”Okay. . . . . . Well, thanks for your help!”

”You're most welcome, Miss Shen. Your actions have also helped us a lot!” Emily smiled gracefully, the absolute image of the hostess of the family.

In fact, she found Cherish to be very cute, and she wanted to be good to her.

Emily showed Cherish to a guest room. ”Miss Shen, I hope this will be suitable. You can stay in this room tonight!”

Cherish looked around the room. The light blue color of the walls made her feel relaxed.

In the middle of the room was a big king size bed. The bed was draped with a white gauze net, making it look like a white crown.

There was a sofa upholstered in lavender velvet next to the bed on which there was an array of plush toys, such as Pikachu, Doraemon, and Hello Kitty. They were all characters very popular among young girls.

On the right side of the bed, there was a small room enclosed by frosted glass. It appeared to be a private bathroom.

The whole floor of the room was covered with a layer of long piled plush carpeting, creating a soft landing in case anyone should fall.

Cherish looked at the carpet and recognized the brand as Wilton.

Apart from the carpet, all the other decorations in the room were from famous brands, and they were ridiculously expensive. Even the Shen Family didn't have the ability to decorate their guest rooms as luxuriously as this.
