Chapter 1354 Dont Be Over Enthusiastic (1/2)

When Taylor was still busy taking care of Amy at the hospital, she received a call from Louis. She immediately prepared a new VIP ward for him to recover in. The director of the hospital personally welcomed him, even though he had bid farewell to Louis only that morning. Louis was being hospitalized again after the morning's pretense.

Tim had accompanied Louis. When he saw Taylor, he immediately offered to shake hands with her, but was stopped by Louis.

Louis said politely, ”Dr. Guo, this is Mrs. Gu's former attending therapist, Dr. Tang.”

Of course, Tim knew who Taylor was. Though she might have looked very easy-going and kind, she was in fact a legend in the psychology field. He admired her from the bottom of his heart, and he wanted to shake her hand again. However, Louis stopped him once again.

With a stiff smile on his face, Louis looked at him and said, ”Dr. Guo, it's unnecessary to be so enthusiastic!”

Seeing how jealous Louis was, Taylor couldn't help but burst into peals of laughter. She teased him, ”How do you feel now? You look like you are in perfect condition!”

”Ouch! I am still in considerable pain, Dr. Tang. I once again need your tender ministrations, and the delicious dinner that you will cook for me tonight!” As Louis spoke, he pretended to be weak and leaned over to her. At the sight of their intimacy, Tim stepped back. Then he said, ”I've heard about Dr. Tang for quite some time. Today I can finally meet you in person. You're indeed more beautiful in person than your pictures on social media.”

”Dr. Guo, you are flattering me. Louis has told me that you've come to see me about Yvonne. Please give me some time to take care of the check-in procedures for Louis. Once that's done, I would like to have a cup of coffee with you, and we can talk about the current situation with Yvonne.” Taylor grinned when she saw Tim's confused expression upon hearing the name Yvonne. Then she explained, ”Yvonne is Emily.”

Seeing Taylor's confident face, Louis's heart beamed.

He knew that what Taylor and Tim were about to discuss was a serious issue, so he didn't want to interrupt them. After the two of them walked out of the ward together, Louis couldn't help but feel happy for Taylor. He hoped that his constant act of shamelessness would ease the pressures on Taylor.

A few days had passed, and the weather was turning colder.

Emily had experienced less and less mood swings recently. As long as she was alone, she would stare off into space with a vague expression on her face.

Jacob was anxious and worried each time that he saw her like that.
