Tapping on the steering wheel, Jacob said calmly, ”I have told Emily that you will leave the hospital tomorrow, and Emily also agreed to pick you up. You must leave the hospital tomorrow.”

”I'm not yet recovered!” If he was discharged from the hospital tomorrow, Taylor wouldn't be able to take care of him every day like now. There were two reasons that he didn't want to be discharged. One was that he wasn't fully healed. The second was that he wanted Taylor to stay with him day and night.

”You will leave the hospital tomorrow morning. After we take you home and after we have left, you can find another excuse to be hospitalized again.” Jacob offered him a bad idea.

Louis was utterly stunned. After a long silence. He replied helplessly, ”Is that what you want to do? Emily's health is important, of course, but my health also matters, okay?”

”No!” Jacob said curtly. Upon not hearing anything from the other end of the line, he added, ”If you can't cooperate with me in this matter, I will arrange for someone to help you.”

”Fine!” Louis slammed the phone as he ended the call.

The next day, Louis was seen off by a crowd of hospital staff, all of whom wore stiff smiles on their faces.

At the entrance of the hospital, the director of the hospital shook Louis's hand and said, ”Mr. Ke, if you suffer any pain or complications, remember to come to the hospital for a reexamination. The door of our inpatient department is always open for you.”

With a grim smile on his face, Louis replied, ”Well, thank you for your kind words, Director.”
