Chapter 1337 Stopped The Car (1/2)
What Carlos had said devastated Nora, and she was hurt as if a knife had plunged into her heart.
Tears streamed down her cheeks, and she managed to control her sobbing, which rasped at her throat. She tightened her grip on Carlos's legs and begged, ”Carlos, please, don't say that to me again. I can change anything you don't like about me. Please don't treat me this way!”
she implored him in an aggrieved tone. She had nothing but Carlos in the world. If she lost him, she would have no idea what the point of her continuing to live would be.
At this moment, she would even willingly accept sympathy from him.
However, it seemed that Carlos had no sympathy for her at all. He tried his best to pull his leg from her grip and said firmly and decisively, ”Nora Mo, we are now over.”
Despite his words, his voice was a little choked. After all, she had been the only one in his heart for many years. But there was no denying that he had reached this decision after careful contemplation.
Looking at the woman who was almost clutching at his feet, Carlos felt a tinge of pity for her, but he still said resolutely, ”I will submit the evidence. The police will be here soon.”
After saying these words, he turned to leave. But after taking only two steps, he spun back and added, ”Nora Mo, behave yourself now.”
Then, he left without hesitation.
Looking at the back of that man who seemed firmly determined to leave her, Nora hurriedly scrambled up and ran outside. She cried and shouted after him, ”Please! Carlos, don't leave me. I will go crazy without you!”
Although Carlos heard her words, he didn't stop at all. He knew that even though he loved her, it wasn't a reason for him to tolerate her acts of violence and destruction against others. She had crossed his line again and again.
Carlos walked so fast that he vanished from her sight when Nora ran out.
