”Mother!” Terry yelled at his mother.

Mrs. Fang roared, ”Don't just stand there. Apologize to everyone right now!”

Terry had been spoiled rotten by his mother ever since he was a baby. This was the first time in his life that he had seen his mother treat him like this. Frightened, he immediately burst into tears. ”I am sorry. I will never behave badly again.”

After settling things with the school, Jacob walked out of the school with a sour face, carrying Beryl in his arms, while Emily took Amy by her hand.

Emily knew that she had acted impulsively just now, or else she wouldn't have instigated Beryl to beat up Terry. She had only done so because it would have been unseemly of her to punish someone else's child. If word got out, she would be disgraced by the society.
