Dina's face turned as white as a sheet. The tension between her and Ray was so thick that it could be sliced with a knife. She clenched her fists tightly. Her body was shaking as was her voice when she opened her mouth to speak. ”You... What do you want?”

'What do I want?' Ray thought.

'From the moment Dina decided to lie to me, she should have seen this coming. There are going to be dire consequences and she should have known that.'

He had his hands wrapped around her throat—he was choking her. He tightened his grip. At that moment, his handsome face was contorted into a scary one as he asked, ”Where's Emily?”

Dina started to have difficulty breathing. Her face was starting to lose color. Then, she pressed her long fingernails into Ray's arms. Suddenly, blood gushed out from his arm.

”Where's Emily?”

Anger filled his dark eyes as he asked Dina again, his voice hoarse and deep. Instinctively, he tightened his grip around Dina's neck so hard that she almost fainted.

”I... I...”

Dina said, rasping for breath. She knew Ray would just continue strangling her if she didn't give him what he wanted.

Ray only let go of Dina when it looked like she was about to say something. Cold air rushed through her sore throat, making her cough violently. ”Ahem, ahem, ahem... Ahem, ahem, ahem...”

Ray merely glared at Dina and then said coldly, ”Tell me all you know!”
