Chapter 664 Will You Leave Him (2/2)
”I can't? Are you out of your mind?” Emily rolled her eyes at Sean. Her words exploded with anger, ”Who do you think you are, Sean?! You have no right to control me! You absolutely have no right to dictate my destiny! I am Emily! I would forever be Emily! I am mys
yourself! That's why I cuffed you. I'm sorry, Cloris. I did this to protect you.”
”No, I'm sorry.” Emily was in disbelief of what she heard. She had a hard time believing she was capable of such a thing. She refused to dwell on it further. With a shaky shrug, she said, ”I don't know what happened. I have no memory of last night. All I remember was that I cried so hard last night then I must have fallen asleep... Are you okay? Is your hand okay? Is the wound serious? Have you had that checked by a doctor?”
Her concern was further checked in with the sound of pain in her voice and the look of self-accusation in her eyes.
Sean sighed internally and relaxed. He gave her a small smile and said, ”It's okay. It doesn't matter. You were just sick.”

”Relax. It doesn't matter.” Sean hugged her and dearly held her in his arms. He gently rubbed her back as he comforted her, ”Are you forgetting that I am a doctor? I will fix you. Don't worry. I'll always be by your side. You know that, right?”
Emily relaxed in his arms and nodded her head. She let out a sigh of relief. Then with a sudden jerk, she looked up at him and asked, ”But Sean, what about Seventh? Please don't hurt him, okay? Promise me you won't.”
Sean's face turned dark and his eyes flashed with annoyance at the mention of Jacob's name. He turned to Emily and patiently answered, ”What if I did? If I really hurt him, what will you do?”
Emily moved away and fully turned towards Sean. Her eyes widened with fear, ”But... But you...”
Sean held her gaze for quite a while. Then he shook his head and sighed, ”If you promise you'll leave him, I will let him go. I will take him back to where he belongs.”
Emily quickly asked, ”But where does he belong?”
”You don't need to know that.” Sean still fixated his gaze at her. He refused to answer her question, but repeated his, ”Will you leave him?”
