Emily noticed the despair in his face and she asked, ”Hey! Are you all right? How are you feeling? I'll go and call the doctor. Wait...”

Jacob grabbed her hand and with a naive look, he said, ”No doctor! Just blow on my wound.”

”What?” she exclaimed in disbelief. Emily was nonplussed, but she found his answer amusing. She giggled and said, ”Well, I don't know what good that will do because I don't have any magical powers. I don't think my breath is going to cure you.”

”No! It will. Just blow!” Jacob begged her.

Her heart melted at his innocence. ”All right! All right!”

She leaned forward and slowly blew on his chest, which at the time looked silly on some level.

”Well, do you feel better now?”

”Yes!” Jacob answered with a child-like smile.

Emily breathed a sigh of relief, but when she thought about what happened just then, she got serious at once. ”You can't do that again. Do you understand?”

Jacob had no idea about what she was talking about. ”Do what?”

”I mean, I mean...” Emily felt a little embarrassed, but she continued to explain, ”You can't hug me like that. It's very flirtatious and definitely not appropriate behavior.”

Jacob looked puzzled. ”What do you mean flirtatious?”

Emily suddenly realized that she had said too much and perhaps it wasn't her place to tell him that. She anxiously explained, ”It means... it means bad things.”

Jacob shook his head, looking even more puzzled than before. ”What bad things?”

”You are still too young to know about these things,” Emily answered. Emily felt that the sooner she'd change the topic the better it would be for the both of them. ”I saved your life and brought you here. I'm the boss here, so you should do as I say. Do you understand?”

”Yes!”

”As long as you follow my orders without asking any questions, everything will be just fine.”
