“Leo King, live today to fight another day.” Ye Chen looked at Tong Tian the Leo King. The Leo King was a true hero. It would be a waste if he went down with the demon wolves.

Young man, leave this place. This has nothing to do with you.” Tong Tian the Leo King shook his head emotionlessly.

The three Celestial Beast Daemon Kings of the Wolven Kingdom had an uncertain look on their faces.

The Blood Wolf Daemon King turned his gaze on Ye Chen. He saw the Immortal Dark Phoenix materialized from Ye Chen earlier. He could tell he was a beginner rank Daemon King but was not sure what role he played in the Leo King’s Palace.

Both sides had suffered great loss in today’s battle. Though the Blood Wolf Daemon King was confident that he could slip away using his secret technique, the destructiveness of Tong Tian the Leo King’s secret technique was so powerful that he was still bound to be severely wounded. Several forces had their eyes on the Wolven Kingdom as well. Following this battle, the Wolven Kingdom would have some rough days ahead of them.

The master of the Thunder Cliff closed his fist together. “I’m the master of Thunder Cliff, Cen You. I hereby vow that I’ll ensure the Leo King is safely escorted back to his palace. Leo King, will you accept my offer?” He looked at the three Wolf Kings of the Wolven Kingdom, then at Tong Tian the Leo King. He seemed to be pondering something.

The Thunder Cliff had already breached their covenant once. Tong Tian the Leo King had lost his trust for the Thunder Cliff. Why would he entrust his life in the hands of the Thunder Cliff?

Ye Chen looked up at Tong Tian the Leo King. A vibrant purple flame appeared in his eyes. “Will the Leo King put his trust in me?”

Tong Tian the Leo King jolted when he saw the purple flame in Ye Chen’s eyes. A trace of surprise revealed on his face and he slightly nodded. The purple flame was the flame of the Purple-fire Astra Lion Clan. Was Ye Chen the descendant of the Purple-fire Astra Lion Clan that he saw in the Jadeite City?

When Ye Chen signaled with his right hand, the Soul Pearl in his hand went forth and headed toward the location of the Divine Elephant and the Green-scaled Pangolin. The Divine Elephant and the Green-scaled Pangolin vanished when a flash of light from the Soul Pearl came upon them. Ye Chen reached out and caught the Soul Pearl coming back to him.

“Leo King, let’s go!” Ye Chen evoked his Astral Body. Tong Tian the Leo King was sent into the Heavenly Astra Seal without any resistance. Ye Chen morphed into a bolt of light and flew outward. “Thunder Cliff, you vowed that you’ll protect the Leo King. Please hold off the Wolven Kingdom for an hour. The remaining forces of the Leo King’s Palace are also in your care!”

“You won’t be getting away so easily!” The Blood Wolf Daemon King brandished the demonic blade and went after Ye Chen.

In that very instant, Cen You lifted a broadsword conjured from a bolt of thunder and slammed it down, obstructing the Blood Wolf Daemon King.

“Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh,” the eight Godly Venerable Rank and Daemon King Rank masters appeared before the Blood Wolf Daemon King and the others.

“Wolf King, I implore you to stop chasing after the Leo King. If you do, the Thunder Cliff will not sit by idly!” Cen You warned sternly. If the three Wolf Kings of the Wolven Kingdom chose to hunt down the Leo King, the Thunder Cliff would take action since they were the allies of the Leo King’s Palace.

Under Cen You’s command, the remaining forces of the Leo King’s Palace were assimilated by the Thunder Cliff. The Leo King’s Palace had suffered tremendous loss. There were only near two hundred Mystique Venerable Rank fighters remaining.

The Blood Wolf Daemon King scoffed. His gaze trailed after Ye Chen’s escaping figure. Not only Ye Chen was not headed for the exit of the seventh floor of the Soul Pagoda but he also went further into the seventh floor. They still had a chance!

The Leo King had already suspended his secret technique so he must be severely injured by now. If they did not seize this opportunity, they may never see another one like this again.

The Blood Wolf Daemon King wondered what sort of artifact the brat’s black pearl which could take people inside it was.

The Daemon Kings of the Wolven Kingdom remained still and exchanged glances with each other.

The Blood Wolf Daemon King’s consciousness delved into the Demon Wolf Manic Blade. “Great Ancestor, what’s that black pearl?”

“It’s probably a spirit arcana.” The demon wolf’s great ancestor thought for a moment. “It looks like the Soul Pearl. There’s an almighty great demon sealed within it. Even before I was born, the great demon was already known across all the lands.”

“That powerful? In that case, we can’t let Tong Tian get away. If he managed to learn demonic technique from the demon, it won’t be so easy to kill him in the future.”

“Not just anyone can adopt the demonic techniques,” the demon wolf’s great ancestor muttered.

A brilliant spark appeared in the Blood Wolf Daemon King’s eyes. If the black pearl was truly a spirit arcana, they had to get their hands on it. Then, the Wolven King would own two spirit arcana! Cen You surveyed the two hundred Mystique Venerable Rank fighters below. They were a significantly powerful force. Even the Thunder Cliff only had six hundred Mystique Venerable Rank fighters.

After an hour, Ye Chen had covered a lot of ground. He sensed the Blood Wolf Daemon King’s Psyche still trailing after him. A smirk greeted the corner of his lips before he went into the Heavenly Astra Seal and disappeared.

The Blood Wolf Daemon King frowned. Somehow, his Psyche could not detect Ye Chen anymore.
