'Why does this kid look just like Brother Yong?!'
However on second thought, Song Xia doubted it.
'No, Brother Yong doesn't have any kid..'
Moreover this boy looked like he's six or seven years old already and she was sure that her parents were not aware of any kid or something..
Song Xia soon calmed down as she smiled and gently asked to the small boy, ”Little kid, where are your parents?...Did you get lost?”
The little boy nodded his small head and said calmly, ”I lost my mother… Big Sister, can you help me find her?”
Song Xia was dazed when she saw how composed the little kid was, even when he was lost and couldn't find his mother.
'This kid really bears resemblance to my brother, even in terms of composure and face! I'm starting to suspect if this is really his kid..
But Brother Yong couldn't have had hid his son from us all this while right..'
If he really had been doing so, she wondered: why would he do that?
She felt really puzzled.
Just as Song Xia was wondering, Ellen nudged her arm lightly which made her come back to her senses.
She shook her thoughts away from her mind and asked the kid, ”Tell me what exactly happened. How did you get separated from your mom?”
The little boy replied expressionlessly, ”I came to watch an animated movie with my mother. After the movie ended, my mother told me to wait for her outside the washroom.
”While I was waiting, I thought I saw my mother leave so I followed her. But I was mistaken and when I realized that, it was too late. I was lost here until I bumped into you.”
Song Xia was once again surprised at how he could talk so smoothly and fluently at a time like this.
If it were other kids in his shoes, they would've panicked or even cried.
But the little guy in front of her seemed to be much more mature and composed compared to them.
She turned to Ellen and asked softly, ”You know where the washroom is?”
The latter shook his head, ”I'm a busy businessman; I don't have enough time to rest, much less watch a movie—”
Before he could continue his story-telling, Song Xia had already gone to ask the passersby whether they knew the way to the washroom.
Ellen was speechless.
Suddenly, he felt a tug on his pants. He lowered his head and asked indifferently, ”What?”
The little kid tilted his small head which made him appear cute but the words that came out of his mouth were not cute at all: ”Uncle, what's wrong with your suit? It's hurting my eyes to look at you.”
Uncle Ellen, who was indirectly called an eyesore, ”…”
Ellen took a deep breath before pointing at Song Xia's back, ”You call her Big Sister; then why do you call me Uncle?”
