The continent's element must be related to the Dao so that Miaomiao could utilize the true power of that Dao.
For example, the Holy Flame of Life Continent was related to the power of life while Miaomiao's Dao was related to Luck and Luck Plundering. When the Dao's power was activated, the Holy Flame of Life Qi was converted into Luck Energy to be used as the fuel for the Dao. Then, Miaomiao could steal his opponent's luck.
However, the affinity between the Dao and Holy Flame of Life was below average. Although the ”Holy” part of this element boosted the Flame of Life Power, blessing it with its ”Luck”, the element's core was not Luck but Life. As a result, Miaomiao couldn't instantaneously activate the power of his Dao or steal his opponent's luck right away – The effect would always be delayed due to the inefficiency conversion process.
Luck was a type of profound energy. Ordinary elements could not represent it. Therefore, Miaomiao's Dao was considered weak and inefficient in Xu Chu and Diaochan's opinion.
Fortunately, Dao Pillars could be moved or reconstructed if Miaomiao had a better elemental continent with a higher affinity. However, moving Dao Pillars would be time-consuming.
For something like the Dao Pillar of Luck Plundering Dao, it might take decades to move it to another continent!
”So, I made a huge mistake,” Miaomiao sulked. Again, he felt bad for being stupid. He wished that Diaochan or Xu Chu could have taught him about this earlier.
