However, the uninvited guest, Dian Wei, had a sensitive nose. She found out about the prey and joined the hunt without Wei Yuan's consent.

This wasn't the first time that Dian Wei proactively chased after Wei Yuan's preys or Hopea's preys. She always ran around, searching for a human to eat.

There was nothing Wei Yuan and others could do. They let the spider girl roam around since she never discriminatingly slaughtered innocent beastmen or humans for food.

She only killed wanted men.

The cleanup teams continued to hunt down Miaomiao's hidden enemies while the man himself maintained his benevolent reputation as a kind city lord.
