The lich and the death knights laughed. Their eyes glowed in bright red as they also used their domain power to interfere with Wang Yun's shadow skill.
The next second, Wang Yun and everyone appeared 20 meters to the north. The teleportation ability was canceled because of the unified domains of several hundred death knights.
Wang Yun's domain power was sealed as well!

Ma Ping was shocked when Ma Moxi received the direct full-forced attack from the lich. From his experience, even he wouldn't survive if he were hit to the chest directly.
Yet, Ma Moxi's eyes didn't lose their radiance. His golden dragonewt body glowed in yellow light and the avatar of the azure dragon emerged around him.
The azure dragon coiled around Ma Moxi and corrected his stance. Then, its killing intent locked onto the lich.
The lich and Liu Bian flinched. No matter how strong they were, the presence of a divine being still intimidated them.
Using the brief momentum, Ma Moxi circulated his gold element Qi and his blood to the damaged organs inside his body. Within a second, he was healed to 100% HP!
Ma Moxi spat out clogged blood in his throat. Then, he unsummoned his azure dragon avatar.
”The first attempt, I failed because I lacked information. The second attempt, I failed because of the death knights. The third attempt, I failed because of the lich,” Ma Moxi took a deep breath and slowly faded. He muttered in a low voice.
”I don't believe that I will fail the fourth time, Wang Diaochan!”
Ma Moxi became invisible again. Now, it was Liu Bian's turn to fear the shadow.
Liu Bian gulped and gritted his teeth. He patted the lich's skull.
”Focus on killing that guy first! Leave those nascent soul insects to the death knight-UGH!”
The lich suddenly raised its hand in front of Liu Bian's face and grabbed something with its fingers. A sharp dagger was in the lich's hand.
Someone had thrown it toward Liu Bian's forehead in an attempt to snipe him!
The lich cast a shadow barrier around Liu Bian. Then, the barrier shrunk and rested inside its hollowed body, inside his ribcages.
Liu Bian was now protected inside the lich's body!
The undead lich summoned an energy hammer and waved its staff, floating and staring into the dark void beyond the edge of the destroyed southern wasteland.
Several kilometers away from the lich, where it was looking, a tattered 6th-stage cultivator in a plate armor carried Lu Fengxian behind his back, floating inside the void space. He glared at the lich while he panted.
Hua Xiong, the sole survivor of Dong Zhongying's subordinates, managed to save Lu Fengxian from drifting into the dark void.
Like others, Hua Xiong was forcefully teleported to the underground pylon tower and was hunted by the lich and hundreds of death knights. He, along with others, had no choice but to retreat into this realm.
But it was a mistake. They fell into Liu Bian's trap and got stuck here in Liu Bian's playing ground. Then, he was injured by one of the death knights, but he managed to survive after he had killed one of them.
For the sake of his survival, Hua Xiong saved Lu Fengxian, hoping to switch sides to their faction.

Hua Xiong sighed, ”You're welcome. What now? Do you think we can escape from here?”
”No.”
”What!? Are you planning to fight them!? That's an 8th-stage undead monster! It has a dao soul physique!”
