”A-A demon?”
Miaomiao lost his strength but he still struggled to breathe. He didn't understand what the silver hair woman's words.
”What are you? The lost race incubus? An orc? A doppelganger? A slime? A vampire? Or a mimic? A first-stage human cultivator can't possess this much strength.”
The woman smiled at Miaomiao, but her freezing aura suppressed Miaomiao's qi. She choked him and raised his body high.
Miaomiao was helpless against her. His legs kicked the snow woman, struggling to remove her hands. Unfortunately, it didn't hurt her.
”I'm a human!”
The woman's friendly smile faded. She put Miaomiao down on the ground and pulled his face up against her, so she could stare into his eyes, ”Say it to my face! Are you a human or a demon!?”
”I'M A HUMAN, BITCH! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?”
Miaomiao lost it and yelled. He didn't care anymore if he would provoke this master.
The snow woman's blue eyes gazed into the eyes of Miaomiao in silence for 10 seconds. Her blue eyes changed to yellow for a brief moment, but they reverted back to the old color. Her friendly smile reappeared, ”I see that you've told me the truth.”
She withdrew her freezing qi from Miaomiao's body and helped him up. She patted his pants and introduced herself, ”My name is Xu Xiuying. I'm the brothel mama and the vice master of Silver Phoenix Sect. I'm so sorry that I've offended you, junior Mao. Please forgive this old lady, okay?”
”Huh?” Miaomiao frowned and raised his eyebrows in doubt. He couldn't understand this woman, ”Okay? Nice to meet you?”
”I see that you're confused. Let's do it this way. You can request services from any girl in this brothel except my disciples. You don't have to pay a dime for their services 'cause it's on the house. Let's take it as an apologift, okay?”
”Apologift, wha-?” Miaomiao still didn't believe her, ”I don't believe in free goods. You almost killed me just now. What's your goal?”
Xu Xiuying squinted her eyes in annoyance, but she resumed her business smile, ”It's a sample of our products. We'll let you have a test run if our brothel is worthy of your time and money, so you can come back and buy our girls in the future.”

Xu Xiuying's words made sense, but Miaomiao didn't trust her anymore. Everyone in this world fought for their interests, greed, and desire, even if they had to kill.
'If it wasn't because of the urgent quest, I wouldn't have had come here in the first place! I'll play along with this woman one more time, and I'm out of this city! I'd rather live in a rural village and get an ugly girlfriend to dual-cultivate than living here and getting myself killed by these people!'
Miaomiao gritted his teeth, but he nodded, ”That offer… I'll take it.”
Xu Xiuying smiled and pulled out a catalog of her employee portraits from her spatial ring. She gave it to Miaomiao, ”Pick one.”
Miaomiao took the album and viewed it.

Miaomiao squinted his eyes and glanced at the system message. Then, he flipped through the album to find the worker number S053.

The rewards changed, but the quest content became more specific. Miaomiao couldn't complete it by having sex with any random woman anymore.
Miaomiao frowned and inspected the girl in question. The prostitute was in the ”Slave” category. She was a pretty young girl who could easily become a Korean idol. Her eyes and eyebrows slanted up like a phoenix, but her small mouth looked delicate and smooth. Just by looking at her photo, Miaomiao had an urge of kissing her lips.
However, unlike other girls Miaomiao had met in the brothel, this girl had short black hair that only reached her neck.
'A slave? The system wants me to mate with a slave?'
His mouth curved down, doubting the system quest and its purpose. He didn't want to go through with it, but the death threat couldn't be ignored.
'Fine. I'll complete the quest as instructed.'
Miaomiao sighed and showed Xu Xiuying this girl's picture, ”I want this girl.”
”A slave? You have a unique taste. Of course, I'll send you to her right away! For one night, you can do anything to her!”
Xu Xiuying laughed and snapped her fingers. A sci-fi-like portal opened below Miaomiao's feet. He fell into the warp hole.
