Chapter 17 - XOXO, Bunny. (2/2)

Su Yan sat down as he narrated his ordeal to his friend who tried his best not to laugh all through. He had never seen his friend let anything get to him especially in matters concerning the opposite s.e.x. It was rare. There have only been one woman in Su Yans life, she had been his first love, Su Yan would move heaven and earth for her, until it ended and there was no going back.

”All of this, over some kiss?”

”If you can't talk with respect keep shut.” he was worked up enough as it was.

”Ah, here we go, something just tells me you will get another chance.” Woo jin poured the both of them a drink. ”Drink up! A woman who could shake you up this bad, reject you and yet you still went looking for her and above that made you smile, is worth drinking to. Cheers my old friend” he drank.

Su Yan studied the drink absently as he thought over what his friend just said. Yes she is worth it, he took a drink for the single reason that it was a scary realization.

Forces Avenue...

”What should I do now?” they had made a floor bed in her living room as she wasn't sure she wanted to be in her room just yet.

”I'd say go for it, what is the worst that could happen?”

”I get hurt again. Badly”

”Chris was a level 10 loser. Su Yan is different both physically and literally. Something tells me you have nothing to lose.”

”So I should call him and ask him out?”

”Girl you crazy! No way, take your time. I'm saying enjoy every moment of it, every step you two take now, take it in and maybe one day he would look up and see that he can't really live without you, I hope.”

”You sound so sure” Tale said dragging a blanket over her body, the nights were colder in December as the haramttan (1) set in. It was her favorite season.

”Because what are the odds that you go to a mall on the day that it was out of chicken and meet a Chinese god in need of it too”

”Zero I guess?”

”So let's believe in the magic of that and see how it goes”

”What are we going to do about your love life though?” Tale dropped the question

”I figured I'd start next year.” Precious joked as they both laughed.

”Never use my phone again to set up dates I'm not aware of.”

”I'm not listening to you.”

”How did we become friends again?”

”You hated my guts.”

”I loved your guts!” Tale said as she turned facing her side of the bed to relive a moment ”It was only overwhelming at first.” she finished. She reached for her phone and sent a text before slipping into dreamland to feel things that might not be in reality.

GRA Phase two...

He was taking a shower when his phone beeped... It could be family; God knows he wasn't winning the son of the year award or the brother of the year award either.

”Sleep well tonight Chicken, if you share my secret with anyone I'd snap your wings off! XO”

He smiled... Her text was all he needed... for now. He had left her room out of the story he told Woo Jin for the benefit of telling him how he missed out on kissing her real fast.
