”Did you hear anything strange?” Selma stopped eating and raised her head doubtfully, looking at the crowd as she asked.

”What? Selma, are you drunk? Where did this weird sound come from?”

The man with the braid patted Selma's shoulder drowsily. Then he leaned over and burped. The smell of alcohol permeated the air as he whispered into Selma's ear.

”Come on, Selma, why don't we do it again?”

”I... I think I heard it a little too, but it wasn't very clear. ” Amongst them, the girl called Xiaoqi, who liked Selma, suddenly spoke up.

Selma pushed away the braided man and looked at the others. Other than the two who were in deep conversation and were not very focused, everyone else had more or less heard the commotion and nodded slightly.

”Alright, who cares about him. He's not able to keep us in the mood. Come, let's eat our fill and get ourselves a program to celebrate. How about we pick up the dragon with a mountain song?!”

The braided man said in an indifferent manner as he extended his hand to call everyone over.

”I'll start first.” The pigtailed man drank too much and became a lot more daring. His body swayed as he straightened up and he started singing. ”Flying bird in the sky …”

”All of you, quickly take a look!” Someone in the crowd cried out in alarm.

Plaits had just finished singing when he was interrupted by a loud shout. He was very unhappy and wanted to spit at that guy, but as everyone's gaze fell on him, he unconsciously glanced at it and was immediately stunned.

A kilometer away from the ship, there were two dark shadows. Judging from the distance and direction they were travelling, everyone knew that they were reaching the outpost.

What surprised everyone was that the watchtower was not the same. One of them looked normal, but the other one looked a bit ”disabled” compared to the other one. They couldn't see much of the distance since it was dark and there wasn't much light.

However, as the ship got closer, the faces of the two watchtowers appeared clearly before them.

”Lie down. F * ck, what the hell was going on!? Why did the watchtower break?! ”

The braided man looked at one of the towers, which had been bent 45 degrees, and sobered up. He shouted with his mouth agape.

Everyone looked at each other in dismay. This was the first time they had been out in the sea recently, so they naturally didn't know.

Weren't the watchtowers like they used to be? How did they become like this?
