In a unit in Heaven's Tower just below Evangeline Heart's room, Asher Cole was sitting quietly inside his study. His face was solemn as he looked at his hands in deep thought.

”Eric Phelps, born from a commoner's family in Everland. His parents died in a car accident when he was seven. And since then, he was living in an orphanage. In his first year in high school, he left the orphanage and began doing part-time jobs. A constant honor student in high school. And after that, he went to Burberry country due to Unmei Academy's letter of recommendation. A poor part-time boy, geh! So boring!”

A handsome young man with shoulder length hair dye in red narrated until he flung the folder on the table, looking all uninterested. He raised his legs and placed them on the table as he leaned on the swivel chair, feeling entirely at home.

”Bro, why are you investigating this man? He's just ordinary. In fact, there is nothing special to him at all!!”

Asher didn't mind the man with red hair as his gaze still locked on his knuckles.

”It's precisely because he's so ordinary that makes him suspicious.”

Asher mumbled, remembering what happened the morning a few days ago.

After Evangeline left that café with Eric following after, they had ambushed the guy in a dark alley and began to beat him up.

Asher absentmindedly rubbed his knuckles. He could still felt the impact of his punches and kicks straight on Eric's face, but at the same time – he couldn't.

Like he was punching hollowed skin.

”How about that orphanage?” Asher asked after a moment.

”It got burned years ago.”

”How about these part-time jobs of his?”

”We've investigated it all, and they have his name on their list of employees. His clean.”

Asher sighed, and then he looked at the guy with red hair opposite him.

”And… why are you here, Alexis?”

Alexis grinned boyishly. ”Bro, don't tell me you hadn't miss your younger brother?! I specifically flew over here from home just so I can personally deliver your requested information to you.”

”Stop delaying. What is it that you're here for?”

Asher impatiently asked as he stared seriously at his younger brother.

Alexis grin remained unmoved. ”I'm here at the request of the old man to bring you back home.”

”Forget it.” Asher immediately reb.u.t.ted and was about to stood up when Alexis stopped him.

”It's not forever. Father and grandfather just wanted your help on something, so they want you back.”

Asher closed his eyes and deeply breathed, but he remained silent.

Alexis continued. ”It's best if you go back. You're fortunate that it's me in here right now… if it was big brother…” Alexis didn't continue his words when he felt a chill just thinking of his big brother.

Asher too couldn't help but shiver at the thought. He sighed some more before he faced his younger brother.

”Then what are you waiting for? Let's go.”

Asher stood up and walked towards the door, but then he stopped when he noticed that Alexis was not moving from his seat.
