19 Chapter 18 - Lightning Serpent Sora (1/2)

Outside, everyone had already arrived, including Ace, Sabo, Luffy and their crews. They originally had other plans, but grew curious seeing the massive earth barrier in Soras courtyard. Though at first they didn't think it was anything too serious, everyone thought it could be very important when Koala explained the situation.

As they waited, a day soon passed, but nobody was willing to leave since they thought it was probably really important. Eventually, two days passed and even Garp and Tsuru had arrived. They also brought Sengoku since Tsuru thought it was about time they let him know. Tsuru grew worried hearing Sora was dealing with something that originally was much stronger than him to the point he couldn't touch it.

Just when she was about to tell them to take down the barriers so she could check on Sora, they erupted. In their place, a gigantic blue pillar of lightning rose into the sky. The pillar gave everyone the feeling of death. Like if they approached any closer they would be wiped from existence. The pillar seemed to rise endlessly into the sky, shattering space itself as lightning crackled all over. Luckily the space was able to repair itself almost immediately after every crack, and everyone was far enough away to be safe. The women were about to move forward, thinking something bad happened to Sora, but they were stopped by everyone. Garp said if something happened to Sora they wouldn't be able to stay in his world, which was true and managed to convince them.

Before long the pillar faded to reveal a giagantic flying serpent. It's scales were spiked back like a hedgehogs quills and two sets of wings. The scales color alternated in different shades of blue, from light blue blue to dark blue, all over its body, while its underside was silver. The two larger wings on the top half of the serpent were black, and the two smaller wings on the bottom half were pure white. Small bolts of traces of lightning ran throughout its body from time to time, while the same occurred around it. When it moved, it would leave a trail of lightning in its wake.

Everyone was shocked by beautiful creature as well its might. Luffy noticed Sora was missing from the crater the pillar of lightning the serpent came from and immediately assumed the serpent had attacked Sora. ”Give me my brother!” He yelled as he shot his arm backward to punch it. ”Gomu gomu-”

Sabo: ”Luffy! Stop!”

Luffy: ”Eh?”

Ace: ”We're still in his world, so Sora should be fine.”

It was at this moment the serpent finally spoke. ”What's wrong? You scared of me now?! Hahaha!” Everyone, except Sengoku, recognized the voice immediately as Soras. Luffy, Ace and Sabo each made their way onto Soras head, much to his dismay. He's an awesome flying lightning serpent after all, why are a bunch of young men jumping on his head!

He didn't bother to shake then off since he knew they would just hop back on, instead he just changed his size to become about a foot long and flew to Monet, settling on her shoulders. ”First of all, I have to stay in this form for like a day,” he began. He then told everyone how the orb which was called an Immortal Lightning Core caused him to evolve and all the benefits it gave him. He then quickly acknowledged Sengoku's right to be in his world. After all, he never had a problem with Sengoku. As long as he doesn't tell anyone, it's whatever.

Luffy, Ace and Sabo all looked at him with jealousy, while he told them he would find a way to help them too.
